    great hospitality and service, gives a feeling of being with the family. one thing that needs to be mentioned is it's 35kms away from Chopta. The weather is very different then that of Chopta.

    Worse services even charge extra from menu. Bad food no choices. Room service is pathetic. No tv in the room. Dont provide tea and cofee sachet.

    I don’t have any photos of the property and my rating is also lowest possible,  for a person whosoever is searching for Chopta. Speaking of Chopta, I made my plan accordingly, made a quick search, and reached Chopta. On reaching, I found that the property is 35 kms away and there was no transportation after 6 pm. And locals also suggested to stay as it is not safe and being in an isolated area, I prefer their suggestion and stay. After contacting hotel, they keep on saying that your booking is d ...more

    Himalayan ECO Lodge is not a senior citizen friendly place. You have to walk down a steep track without railings from the Car Park to reach your cottage. Power Backup us minimal & power shortages are a plenty. Food normally is not served in the Cottages. Food Quality average.Prices are exorbitant for the service they provide.  Hotel is not in Chopta...it is in Kund...which is about 4000 ft lower & it is Hot here, where as proper Chopta is much cooler at 8000 ft approx. Choose your stay here wisely....regards
