I recently stayed at Ashoka Grand in 30 Minutes drive from Dalhousie
Overall, the room service experience was very good. The food arrived quickly and fresh.
The menu had a good variety of options, and ordering was easy via phone. The staff was polite and professional, and the service hours were convenient.
Location of the hotel is exceptional, located in the lap of nature, breathtaking view, surrounded by mountains and lush green trees.
Room is designed in such a way that you enjoy to spent time in balcony while having morning tea.

Our experience with hotel Ashoka Grand was of mixed type.
1. Though the location is good, the hotel is too far from market. Takes 40 minutes to travel one way.
2. The hotel desperately needs a professional manager with good etiquettes. Rest of the staff is good.
3. They miserably failed to provide good breakfast without onion and garlic on the first day. We had big long argument with them and then we called the owner.

One of the best stays in Dalhousie but it’s just at some distance from the city centre! It takes around 40 min to come back to the centre but it has some breathtaking views which you don’t get everywhere in Dalhousie! It’s so reasonable for the price, the service you receive is more than what you get in a 5 star! Food is as good you can have! Chefs were so accommodating to even have special requests to make khichadi and non spicy breakfast for our kids free of charge!
