the facility is average but considering the other similar hostels in the area its above par. The view from the balcony is out of the world. The in-house food is very tasty and mostly reasonably priced. A meal will cost about 250 bucks. Tea and maggi I found expensive at 30 and 100 respectively.

The Zostel Dalhousie is amazing place to stay. I had great experience there. The place is close to Mall road and in less crowded area. The view was amazing from the zostel. Also i would like to especially call to Pankaj who is manager there. He is pretty chill guy and was always there for everyone needs. I made it feel like a home. I will definitely visit again.

You need to climb down 100+ steep stairs to reach the property which is neither informed nor shown in any images.I booked one entire dorm at the hotel for my family and got to know about the stairs. My parents couldn't make it there and I couldn't check-in.

The rooms are very good
Food was good and prices were reasonable
They had many games and books
Really cool place for a group of friends
Cons: parking

I had booked a 4 bed mixed dorm for the first night and an 8 bed mixed dorm for the second night, as 8 bed wasn't available initially. They adjusted the room according to my preference.
The room was nice and clean, well maintained. The staffs and volunteer (Vinay) were all friendly and helpful.
He arranged for games and trips together, helped all the fellow travellers unite and become friends forever.
