Club Mahindra Danish Villa

Pros: 1. Located in a serene place with a good view of the hills, its once of the best places to stay. 2. Courteous staff and rooms were well maintained. 3. Not a big place though but have all needed facilities available. 4. I would definitely look forward to get back there soon. Cons - 1. On the day of checkout there was no buffet breakfast as the number of guests in the resort were less (as said by their staff). They however served the dishes on the table but took their own sweet time to prepare. My checkout was delayed due to that. 2. The credit card swipe machine did not work at the time of final bill settlement and they expected me to pay by cash. Luckily i had made an advance booking and hence did not have to shell out too much of cash to settle the final bill. They have to keep options available as the guests cannot be carrying cash all the time.

Not a great stay ...front office person does know hospitality ethics and how to treat with customer ...when asked for plate he became angry and said we dont give plate for outside food ...i told we will check out at 11 am he first agree to it then started calling mutiple time from 10 .50 am itself which is very annoying ..All person in resort seems busy in themselves and does not care much about customer need and if customer ask for sonething ...Food is overexpensive rs 75 for tea ...the best part of our stay is fun section in resort...how good the fun guy person is ...he is super and doing his best to take care of each and evey guest with always smile in face . ..i think he should be manager or at reception to treat guest well ....i hope management will take care of this

The only good thing about this hotel is the location with very good nature view and the flower plants maintained in the hotel. Food is too expensive as others say. It is not worth having food in their restaurant. No buffet here. But we can go to the city for food as it is nearby. Few tourist places are nearby. This property is very small compared to other club mahindra properties. I had a very high expectations but got disappointed after reaching there. I personally would prefer a different hotel to enjoy ooty like gem's park hotel just 3 mins walk from club mahindra.

Location, rooms, staff, food everything is justified for the price they are charging. Really good and welcoming staff. Though you would say the food is expensive. But the food is really good and they serve huge portions. very good buffet spread. I couldn't imagine that such food can be available in a hill station. Very spacious rooms and very near to main town just 2 kms. For those going there it can be easily found by gprs, go straight uphill from stephens church. One more thing, there are two mahindra hotels. so dont forget to clearly mention danish villa to driver
