Pros:1) Located at a prime location. Cab facilities, Police station, BDO office, restaurants are all nearby at a walking distance.2) Washroom is big and good. It does have a geyser.3) They do provide an electric kettle for hot water.4) Good for family people specially with children as they have a strict rules of no alcohol.5) Free car parking.6) Clean and maintained.7) For power cut they have option of inverter. However inverter will support only the necessary lightings inside the rooms not heavy load.Cons:1) The only con I see is presence of dogs. Although they didn't harm me however they sometimes rush towards people entering the home stay hence need to be cautious.This can be an ideal choice for families as the homestay has a strict rule of no alcohol. Also car parking is free. Recommended for families.

We stayed at K N Sunshine for one night only. The rooms were very clean and free of any type of odour. The reason for its being free from any odour is that sunlight enters the room in the morning. The owner is very polite, a good human being and very much supportive and also available whenever needed. The rooms have heaters for hot water. Only thing to keep in mind is the load shedding schedule of the cherrapunji for using any type of three pin equipments (equipments using heavy current. Ex. Heater, Electric kettle etc) but the inverters are installed at the property to avoid power cuts for normal usage of power. In conclusion, we enjoyed our stay at K N Sunshine home stay. Will visit again in future.

The owner and manager were very helpful. Since we had a small kid with us.. who hates being locked in a hotel room...he was very happy and playful on finding a big open courtyard inside the homestay premises. And being in the heart of Sohra.. the location was easily accessible and there is a nearby Taxi stand.. with lots of grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacy and what ever you may need in emergency while traveling. If anyone is traveling with their car then the parking will be the bonus point. A good stay is a very important part of vacation. Thank You KN Homestays

Behavior is good. Location is great. But no amenities. No wifi, no electrical kettle. 2 single bed. Only 1 blanket for each room. It is absolutely inadequate. Firstly they denied to give more blanket but given. Low flow of water. It is a very overpriced dormitory not provided basic amenities

very bad there is no one to respond. not single personnel available. also need my money back as I am not know whether they r share the breakfast or not. only a single mother and old father run this homestay. pls reply and refund my money. even they r not providing water.
