Would like to elaborate on the entire experience at La Kupar - Pros - 1. Awesome Hospitality - 5* Standard. Well mannered and well behaved Service staff. 2. On the highway - So no issues locating it. 3. Food is tasty and affordable. Breakfast - Good enough. 4. The Owner - Mr Basnan and Manager Mr John - are the best travel guides you will ever find. 5. All the services staff - specially the girls/ladies are very helpful - They even helped my wife in decorating our room, which was a special surprise for me on my birthday. 6. Mr Basnan/John will provide you with the world famous Hand drawn Map of Cherapunji - Which is Infact more accurate than the GMaps. 7. Ample parking space available if you are travelling with your car. 8. Dormitory available for drivers. 9. All the rooms have a personal balcony - You can have a daily morning and evening view of the beautiful hills around. 10. Rooms are hygienic and well maintained and spacious too. Cons - 1. Atleast an Electric cattle must be available in the room along with Tea/Coffee sachets. 2. Can think about adding a few more items to the breakfast. 3. Might seem a bit overpriced, but given the hospitality and love you will receive, that compensates for it. Moreover you won't find too many food hotels/resorts out there at this price. Conclusion - A must stay resort. Thumps up 👍

The room, towels, furnitures were very clean and nice. Bathroom was clean too. We were provided with electric kettle and sachets of sugar, powdered milk and tea for making tea by ourselves (They have a restaurant too). The lawn was huge. Just the food was not good but there are many nice and hygienic restaurants nearby like the Orange Roots. The staffs were best. Their hospitality is quite appreciable. If you're confused about your itinerary in Sohra, John will explain very nicely using hand drawn maps. Unmarried couples are totally welcomed. They don't ask anything just the IDs.

Hotel La Kupar is one if the best place to stay in Cherapunjee - Heaven of Earth Care and Hospitality provided by Mr. John ( Manager ) and Ms. Bala ( attendant ) were fantastic , Mr John is very knowledgeable and has great sense of ownership , his guidance was very helpful especially for double-decker living route bridge ..... We also has enjoyed bonfire during our stay at La Kupar , food was tasty and hygenic Location of the hotel is good in short "Best Place to stay " with very reasonable price .....

The stay was amazing. The caretaker is very welcoming, sweet & very helpful. It was actually kind of a home-stay & it totally gives you homely feeling, at this price it was just amazing & I had a good time staying over there. One thing which I don't know is a good thing or a bad but according to me it is actually good as it helps guests to mingle with each other & that is the TV is in the drawing so people can interact with each other while watching TV.

The hotel location,room cleanliness and staff behaviour were excellent. We felt like a home there. Hotel Owner and Manager (John) were very good in guiding you to explore the best places of Cherrapungi. Overall it was very best experience and rooms were also in great shape.

A very nice place to spend your holidays. Very good ambiance. Location is perfect for sight seeing at Cherapunji. Rooms are spacious. Hotel staff is very helpful, cooperative and cordial. You can enjoy the rains through the balconies and open space around the property.

One of the best places to Stay. The level of personalized service offered is way better than any 5 star hotel. We felt like home with a baby. Would love to visit again and again. It a home away from home. Enjoyed the stay to the core.

It was a wonderful experience at La Kupar Inn. Food was awesome and staff was very polite and helpful. Many tourists attractions nearby. They arrange bonfires in lawn areas and many board games available as well.
