MOON STAR BEACH RESORT

Stepping onto the Moon Star Beach Resort was potentially nothing short of a dreamy escape. The resort's ambience and amenities, including the sparkling pool and nearby beach access, provided ample opportunities for both relaxation and recreation. Whether lounging by the pool or leisurely walking down the pristine shoreline, the options for unwinding were always there. Large rooms, a magnificent balcony to sit around and fancy bathroom settings could have been the perfect icing on the cake but unfortunately they came up with a few unwanted cons: Our telephone wasn't working so it was a touch difficult whenever we had the need of ordering something or reaching out reception. A lovely looking geyser wasn't producing warm water, a jaguar shower didn't have the desired water force and TV remote of the room was missing. However the staffs' hospitality was exceptional; they went above and beyond to serve us. Food was pretty good. So do I visit the property again? My answer is yes. I would not only love to visit the property and change my rating to a 5-star from an existing 4-star. Till then I would like to see the hotelier considering these adjustments, which I believe, could contribute to the continuous improvement of the already brilliant resort.

I have paid INR 5.5k for MOON STAR RESORT, Mandarmani. Based on their amenities and the standard amount I have paid is expensive. The resort is under construction, not 100% completed yet. All civil, plumbing, painting etc work is in progress. Only 30% resort is ready for guests, remaining 70% of property is under work in progress with brick fallen here and there, paint barrels, fevicol boxes wooden pieces spread here and there. I have travelled with my 1.5 years daughter. I don't recommend this property for families as couples with kids. I saw gang of men drinking liquor openly outside lawn and near swimming pool, which is very much discomforting. I will rate 1.5 out of 5 star to this property. Washroom do not have proper flow of water and washrooms are smelling a lot with the smell of raw meat. Food price is too expensive as compared to half cooked, unpleasant smelly, full of oily food which they serve. Overall experience was that I got disappointed here. After 10 AM they keep following up to vacate the rooms. Approach road is kaccha and in very congested to take four wheeler. Avoid this property. It should have rates INR 1500 as per their standard and facility.

It is a very new hotel, the property and rooms are wonderful but their service is pathetic. The housekeeping guys had done an excellent job but most of their in room dining staff are not trained well and they act as if they are simply doing a favour on their guests , and the worst was the behaviour of their front desk staff who checked us in. As I was very tired at this time I forgot to include breakfast in my booking. The front desk staff started laughing and making fun of us in a sarcastic way. I was absolutely shocked seeing this kind of unprofessional behaviour that too from the front desk staff of any hotel. The food here is overpriced if compared to the quality and quantity they offer. They served sauce based starters without cutlery and said that it is supposed to be eaten with toothpicks which they had given along with the food. When I asked for a thumbs up then they gave me an ice bucket along with that and later on they charged me for the ice bucket which I never asked for and neither did i use it. The staff here really need to undergo atleast some basic training. Really sad to see such poor service in such beautiful place.

I am giving 5 star though there are problems i faced in this hotel 1. There are plenty of mosquito inside the room. But this story is in every hotel there specially in this season.2. Food service is late sometimes. This also happens in every hotel there.3. Staff behaviour is quite good i noticed.4. Rooms are clean, well decorated in this budget.5. Approaching road is quite good now. It's a concrete road now. My opinion is this hotel is quite good compare to other hotel of mandarmani in this budget. I can this because I stayed there in several hotels for my weekend trip. There are lot more other hotels who charge quite high but not good as this one.
