Royal Sea Digha

This is the worst hotel experience I have till date.1. The rooms were unclean. There were stains on the sheets and covers. 2. The bathroom had a foul smell. 3. we booked for 7 adults. one was for 4 people.(family room) and deluxe room that was mentioned could fit 3 adults. family room was decent sized. but Deluxe bed was small. we asked for an extra matress/bed. they were unable to provide. we asked for an upgrade then. which also they were not able to provide.3. Pool timing is from 8-5:30pm. which doesnt make sense as 8-5:30 most ppl r usually out sightseeing. they mentioned that nylon and synthetic materials were allowed. but when we went there we had to spend a lot of energy proving our dress material is synthetic/nylon. 4. Hostile behaviour from the staff. The manager made us wait for more than an 1hr and still did not come to resolve our issue.5. food though was tasty, for getting one tea delivered would require us to call multiple times over the course of 3 hours and still did not arrive that speak volumes about the seriousness of the staff.6. not proper driver accommodation provided 7. Even the basic hotel amenities such as fresh towels, soaps, tea station was not provided.overall i would rate the experience 0.5 out of 10.

Booked a royal family room with bathtub subject to free upgradation to a premium room with Jacuzzi. On arrival , they provided a normal family room siting the reason they do not have room with bathtub (let alone the free upgradation ) where the entire hotel was almost empty ! The manager uses the non existant bathtub/ Jacuzzi as a marketing tool. Beware of these guys !!!At the time of checkout also (I had free delayed checkout as a part of deal) they denied the delayed checkout siting non-availability where the entire hotel was almost empty.The icing on the cake was , some random parties in roof top which will spoil your sleep at night.The location is also far off from sea beach and does not justify the premium price tag.There are so many other options in digha which provides much better overall value proposition.

I recently stayed at this hotel from 29th to 31st march and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Despite the attractive website and promising amenities, the actual stay fell far short of my expectations.Here are some of the issues I encountered:- The room was not clean upon arrival, with dust and stains visible on the furniture and carpets.- The bathroom was poorly maintained, with a leaky faucet and a shower that took ages to warm up.- The lunch buffet was poor quality, undercooked chicken.- The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, taking ages to respond to requests and often getting things wrong.Overall, my stay at Royal Sea was a letdown. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard of service and amenities. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be returning.

The Location of the Hotel was Superb it had met all the requirements for being a Star Hotel. The pool was not too big hence can become a little crowded on weekends. The rooms at the price they are charged at is completely worth the money. Food was good in terms of Quality but was a bit expensive I would recommend to have small meals from outside as there are plenty of options but Lunch and Dinner can be done in the Hotel. Overall a pleasant stay.
