The hotel is in good location. Metro station is just a few minutes walk from it. But the hotel is not good at all. I traveled with my family and sister we ordered two plates of puri as we are tired after travelling long distance I opted not to go somewhere else and to take the meal in hotel itself. The boy from hotel came with total number of 12 puris and sabji in two bowls, but when the time came to pay the bill the boy came with bill for 3 plates and I asked how the bill came for three plates, ...more

The hotel room number was not a room in fact, it was an underground basement forcefully given shape of a room. It was damp, no air passage, very bad odour all the time, no mobile phone network was available inside the room, as it was underground,even hotel WiFi signal also not found inside the room The bathroom had no exhaust system, it's totally blocked, bathroom floor tiles were slippery And the greatest irony was AC and Geyser doesn't work simultaneously, MCB goes down while switching on the geyser

i shall never recommend this horrible hotel,may be its situated in heart of esplanade area but i have faced horrible experience so i had to leave the hotel,the behaviour of one manager was so rude like i was his servant..

I was not given the hotel or room I booked, although it was a prepaid booking..asked to accommodate in a guest house instead. way below par room provided in exchange....

Suffocated rooms without any ventilation.very old Ac not in good condition...man in the reception don't care to help u out as if dey have mercy upon you on ur stay in samrat hotel.. **** **** experience could have booked much better rooms in same price.

room was very pathetic condition. blanket provided was dirty and bad smelling. Elgi formation was in half of the walls, water dropping from AC. No hotel I have seen toilet without exhaust fan, but in this hotel is evifance. Don,t stay until moajboori.

Hotel is located at prime location of dharmtala. Though hotel is not so good but hotel rent is justified for its location. Staffs are good and welcoming nature. Moreover it was pleasant staying at this hotel.
