GREAT STAY I traveled with a group of friends, 15 of us and occupied 2 lovely Shabnam houseboats at Dal Lake. The Shikara ride to the houseboat and the Kashmiri Kehwa tea (with spices) on the boat were a perfect welcome. The houseboat stay are very neat, clean and well furnished. Amazed with its beautiful interior especially the wooden carve work, the curtains, carpets and bed linens. The owner, Mr Haneef and his great support team, are friendly and took good care of us during the entire stay. We were served with Kashmiri food for breakfast as well as for dinner. The food was very tasty and served hot, it made our meal very satisfying especially when the dining area has the ambiance of Home Sweet Home. Knowing that our taste bud could not take too spicy dishes, we were still served with delicious Kashmiri dishes with less 'hot stuff' but yet still delicious. The aroma of freshly made white tea with spice was superb after dinner. You will have a truly good houseboat experience and the Kashmiri hospitality. Try the evening Shikara ride around the lake and see the beautiful sun set. Will definitely come back.

hi all... apart from shikara pick up & drop... nothing is complimentary (have to pay even for water).... room & toilet was clean.... but there's no wifi or tv connection (they do hv a tv set without connection😄😄) in the room.... breakfast was pathetic... definitely not worth the cost... but view from boathouse was awesome so was it's prime location... i booked a standard room with breakfast fr a couple fr **** Rs per night.... overall the stay's worth was not more than 1000 rs...

Very Impressed with their hospitality. The rooms are very clean and neat and decent with mountain view from the window. Their buffet spread has a wide variety of food. The staffs make sure that everyone feels very warm and they take care of our every need. Very happy to have booked this Houseboat. Would love to revisit and stay here in our future visits to Srinagar, Kashmir.

The honeymoon suite was neatly maintained. The complementary tea was very good. Great ambiance and comfort. Food was very good, Chicken gravy tasted good. The room had bed warmers which was very helpful. The only downside was having lunch at the houseboat, which was very expensive. We were charged 800{non-veg} for 2 people. On the whole a great experience.

Beautiful houseboat. Exceptionally good staff and location of houseboat is also very good. The best thing which I like is the food which they have given. It tasted like home made food. cleanliness of the place was also a plus. All the amenities were class apart.

We loved the experience and hospitality here. Very well maintained and beautiful houseboat. Evening view is just amazing.Luxurious house boat it was. Enjoyed Shikara ride provided by the house boat, free of cost for one hour. Home like food. Well behaved staff.

The best house boat in Kashmir...All the staffs are very polite, cooperative, humble. The rooms are very neat and clean. Foods are very tasty. I strongly recommend the house boat for enjoying the view of Dal lake.
