SHIVRATRI GUEST HOUSE

The facilities are 1 very near to Viswanath Gali Gate, 2 near to Dasaswamedh Ghat 3 Lift Problems are 1 no proper room service 2 far from main road so had to walk 1 km with luggages without any help of hotel authority. no one asked to help us to carrying luggage any time. 3 warm water in bathroom was not always available 4 not as good as rate Rs... per room per day. 4 they were not adjustable, as we reached there at 9 am told them to give us atleast one room early, but they told us that check in time is 1pm. We had to wait for that long time with my 65 years mother in such a cold 5 degree temp at a open corridor. When we returned we had train at 5 pm. i requested to give us atleast one room for 1 to 2 hours for free as we stayed there for 4 night. but the refused to help us. they told that check out time is 12 noon, so if we had to take room then we have to pay. 4. there was no tea services not atleast at morning, so breakfast is so far to think. 5 there was no drinking water facility, so we had to pay for drinking water huge.

Its a wonderful stay at Shivratri Guest House..The location, rooms, food( though seems a bit on the higher side), hospitality is very good. I would like to mention their hospitality a little bit. From the arrival till our departure the owners hospitality is remarkable. Their guidance towards our visit to temple, ghat , aarti Darshan is really appreciable. Location is perfect.Would like to recommend this hotel for Varanasi visit.

होटल के कर्मचारियों का व्यवहार उपेक्षापूर्ण रहा। शिकायत और कमियों को बताने पर टालमटोल किया गया। कमियाँ:-- 1- कमरे की एक दीवार का पेन्ट उखड़ा हुआ था। 2-टी0वी0 में कोई भी धार्मिक चैनल नही चल रहा था। 3-बाथरूम टायलेट बहुत खराब थी।फ्लश की टोंटी काम नहीं कर रही थी। 4-कमरे में डस्टविन नहीं था। व्यवस्था के लिए अनुरोध करने के बावजूद टालमटोल कर दिया गया।

This a No No stay place in Baranasi. There are many reasons but mentioning one is enough. At night when I was returning from the Temple I found few local people are gathered in the stairs of the hotel and drinking alcohol openly .. They disnt even bother to clear the pasaage to go upstair. Isn't it enough to avoid this hotel in Varanasi ??
