Royal Meriton Hostel

The entire 8-night stay was a nightmare. I would never go to this property again. This is mostly due to mismanagement by the caretaker who needs to be fired! This is NOT only my opinion but also the collective opinion of a lot of customers (especially students). 2. Nice location, lazy caretaker who provides no services. No breakfast was provided even though I paid for 8 days breakfast as well. 3. Bed was allocated. Linens were NEVER changed even upon request. 4. Caretaker talks down to all customers (including me) and wants to work elsewhere as he claims he dislikes the owner. 5. Even the reception clock battery was NEVER changed incurring the wrath of every customer there.6. Caretaker did not fix the leaky faucets. Instead, he shuts leaky faucets down when NOT in use. 7. Caretaker barges into every room, shuts off AC and/or fan without knocking and without any care to people sleeping in rooms. 8. Half-clad caretaker comfortably sleeps through the day in rooms with AC and fan for him though, with heavy snores!!!10. I saw several student customers that vacated the place due to the non-ambiance to read or sleep there! I wanted to check out too but instead managed to live with the nightmare. 11. Also, caretaker shows every prospective future customer every room especially during Covid-19 times, unmindful of who will say what. There is NOT even an iota of decency in his manners or the services he should be otherwise offering. He is too loud, snoring, barging and talking down to his customers. In short, an inhospitable, sleepless, serviceless stay this time for 8 nights! Note: I did have a positive experience with caretaker who was service-oriented and well-liked back during my stay in the same facility in Sep 2019.

Room service is too bad .They don't provide ghe bed sheet to costumer and no one is their to received and help the passengers.bad service. As i m solo trip and no one will prefer this kind of hostel to stay .as u can see the pictures as i have uploaded it will get to know u very well about the condition of hostel.sorry to say i don't get that much benefit as i got to know from the description.even they don't provide me with bed tea and mineral water. I am very much disappointed with the service.

everything was good but owner was not taking strict action against drinking n smoking. it was clearly written then smoking n drinking not allowed but 1 guy was drinking n smoking we had complaint about that but owner was least interested

It was a boy's hostel and more like a PG. Location was very good and secure to stay. The staff was fine and helpful. Food was good. Services were all up to the mark. Overall 5/5 for the stay.
