HOTEL ROYAL VIEW

I am completely dissatisfied with the services in hotel royal view. 1. As per description its 3-4 minutes away from Sea Beach but actually its almost 1 km away from sea beach which takes 15-20 minutes by walking.2. Hotel room has not been cleaned during my 4 night stay. One day housekeeper came after my 8-9 times request, who only cleaned the floor and went.3. Bed sheet, Pillow Cover, Blanket not changed. We used the same blanket and towel for 4 nights stay. Never ever changed or cleaned.4. Soap, Shampoo not provided everyday. Only once given 1 small soap for single use and 1 sachet of shampoo worth Rs. 2. Another soap has been provided on 10 times request. Hot water is not available for 17th and 18th August.5. Lift remains off as very few guest are staying currently in the hotel. We are not important to them. 6. Intercom turned off on 18th August entire day. I needed to go downstairs to place any order or request. 7. Bathroom window has been covered with a towel as building construction is going on the right side of the hotel. A fully open balcony is also there in the right side, which is making us uncomfortable during our private times.8. Food is okay but very small and traditional menu. Out of which Chinese menu is not available. 9. Television has only Free To Air Channels available. Remote also not working properly and broken.10. Staffs are good. Their behavior is good. They does not have proper hospitality skills, seemed like just hired from locality and has not been trained properly. Also the Owner of the hotel is very rude. I t was my big mistake to book hotel 11. CCTV are installed but cannot assure the functionality of the same.12. No vehicles available nearby to visit the beach. Minimum walking of 400 metres to get E-rickshaw. Which also cost so high.13. Bathroom has not been cleaned a single day. Smoking is allowed inside the hotel anywhere you wish. Light, fan and AC is working properly, which is a positive side.14. Laundry not available in the hotel. All the used clothes cannot be washed here. 15. Wait time for food is almost 30-45 minutes after ordered. Even in the restaurant the wait time is more than 20 Minutes. Most of the menu items are not available. 16. They do not allow outside food inside the hotel, Entire Digha hotels allow either outside food or personalized cooking. But Royal View even don't allow personalized food or outside food. And also the menu has some limited food available. They taste of them are also not upto the mark. Chilly Paneer worst ever I have eaten.17. Nothing available in the nearby. Minimum 500 metres walking distance from the market area. Amravati Park is 500 metres away. Walking time 7-10 minutes. Even a medicine is not available. 18. Surrounding is not good. Doesn't seems safe in the night. No people on the road after 9-10 PM. 19. Room service is poor. Intercom turned off.20. They have written in the description that group with only male candidates are not allowed. They actually allow.SUGGESTIONS FOR TOURISTS1. As the distance from beach is high, I will recommend DO NOT BOOK this hotel.2. As the service is not good, I will say Don't book.3. If they allow outside food, that may be only reason to book in a case where no hotels available in entire city.5. Hospitality is very poor. They even don't know what it means.

Location is interior, not near to the beach. Pros- The rooms were cleanThere was smart tv facilities Cons- Rooms are smallBathroom had just a tiny soap and shampoo.Room service is pathetic. We ordered tea for one, they said they heard two so we need to pay. We paid because it was just 15/-. Next day, we ordered breakfast at 8am, they served us at 9:17am that too after calling thrice. There check out time is 9:30am.They started calling us to leave the room.Room service was the most horrible. And if your train bus gets late, at afternoon, they won't serve you food after 3pm. Their kitchen opens at 8am. Before that you will not even get a black tea without sugar.Staff behaviour is horrible. Service was pathetic.

service, room quality, neatness, taste of the food in resturant... in every aspect you can blindly give them 5 out of 5. the best things are - hospitality, staff behaviour and the rate of food. from the new digha beach it's not at all even 1 km. moreover 2 tourist spots - amarabati park for ropeways and kajal dighi for toy train - they are just 3-4 minutes walk from the hotel. an auto stand you will get just in front of hotel. so, in every aspect it's good. slightly away from the congestion of main market

Excellent hotel with excellent location extremely clean & comfortable, friendly staff. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff, the foods are yummy. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again Royal View. Very Comfortable, security, neat & clean, friendly cooperative staff
