We had planned a one day stopover at Varanasi enroute to Kolkata from Allahabad. From the moment we stepped inside Sai homestay till the time we left, we were overwhelmed by the helping attitude of the young, tall and debonair front-desk guy who introduced himself as Siddharth Gupta. He not only helped us with even our smallest needs, but also gave us the most honest advice on how to plan our sightseeing and do some shopping. Though our room was a bit small, it was absolutely new and clean with a new Tv, a new ac, new bathroom fittings, running hot water and a comfortable bed. The home cooked food was delicious and the rates were reasonable. Siddharth also went out of his way to help us book olas and ubers (ola uber drivers notoriously cancel their bookings at the last instant here). Without his help, we could even have missed our return flight to Kolkata. The next time we visit Varanasi, we would love to stay at Sai homestay again. And Siddharth, thank you for everything. A. A perfect budget homestay in the center of the beautiful town of Varanasi. All relevant places of visit are within 2-3 kms including station, temple and ghat. the owner takes special care of all the needs personally. dont expect fancy amenities like hotels. The rooms, washroom and toilet are perfectly clean. The bedsheets, towels etc are clean. Ac, geyser, tv are working fine. Outside food is allowed. They also provide their own home cooked food and breakfast on a-la-carte basis in very cheap price. They provide unlimited RO water free.A perfect homestay for me and my family.Definitely Recommend if you want peaceful stay.
