This stay is very into the wilds! You have to be prepared to be out of your comfort zone and experience the real nature. There will be frogs, lizards and other insects in and round your mud houses but you don't have to panic as they are harmless! Also there are many dogs and cats around this property but all very friendly :) Personally I loved this place as I like the concept of ecostays and permaculture. Food served at the cafe & for breakfast was simple and homelike. But just be prepared if you are ordering in the cafe you may have to be a tad patient as it takes longer than expected because they are short on staff. I can gaurantee that this pick will add a whole new non commercial Goa experience to your typical redundant party ones. I was quiet surprised at the in room facilities that they were providing at that price. It was higher than what I expected. Only one negative is that there is no hot water available here. People around this property are very helpful and have a great community vibe. So you can approach them anytime incase you need any help . Must say that this place intrigued me and you can definitely decide to stay here atleast for 1 night if you are not too experimental.

It is a great experience to be at Saraya if you're not looking for excessive luxury in your stay! It is heaven for people who're trying to live more responsibly and sustainably. The owners are friendly, warm people and if you're the similar eco-lover kind, you shall have lots to chat about with both Zora and his mother, who is the creator of Saraya. Their cafe rolls out amazing wood fired pizzas and the ambience is heart warming. Do go there for experiencing a different side of Goa. They have some nice travel guides and material for you to check out too! They also take volunteers for helping with management and maintenance as and when needed. Love nature? You'll fall in love!

I checked out within the first 30 mins of my arrival. An experience should not compromise on safety. Even thought the place may suite the aesthetic taste buds of people but the risk to stay there even for a night is going to take it away. I am not pointing out at the management but to the mices, ants and lizards I was sharing the space with. I have spoken to the Saraya Hotel Management, they have promised to refund my money. Had a realy bad experince , we had our chk in time at 12 am , but the staff informed us to wait for 45 min ,as the rooms wer not yet cleaned .so we chked around 1 pm , the next day we had to chk out 11 am , but we requested them for one hour delay of chk in the staff was realy rude , & orderd us to lv at 11.am , ... wash room is realy dirty with so many insects Lot of mosquitos ,, Rain water was spiling inside the room .. not well maintained !

This was quite a pleasant stay- an experience of one of its kind. The huts are quite clean and well maintained. The archtecture has been beautifully done. I was simply thrilled by how they have created this space with so much love and compassion. The owner is very friendly and helpful. However, i won't recommend this place to anyone who wants to be around the beach, loves party and prefers luxury.

Wonderful stay..sooper awesome people.. from the owner to volunteers and helpers.. food is something just order anything blindly and you will love it.. such a beautiful place with all greens and esp. taking care of environment by their eco ways.. would highly recommend :) we liked everything from our comfortable stay to food and people.

Please note that this is an eco stay and the place is thoughtfully and aesthetically designed using eco friendly materials. Room was clean, fresh linen and enough charging points. Mosquito net, basic toiletries and yummy breakfast was served. Would love to visit again. I recommend this place.

Had a memorable stay at saraya. Diksha and her team are ever so helpful, warm and friendly. The eco stay is a must try who want to experience sustainable and natural living. Not for the faint hearted. special mention for the food, it’s great but the pizzas & gluten free are tops !!

Would like to really appreciate and thanks to Team Saraya for giving us a beautiful stay. Living in Earth House was amazing. Breakfast was so delicious. Their in house restaurant is also very good. I would be surely recommending this one to my friends and group members.

Beautifully designed ecostay. Rooms and facilities are in sync with care for nature. Recycling is abundant at this space. Cafe serves great vegetarian food. The people running Saraya are like family for everyone Peaceful ambience considering we were in Goa.

It was a fun experience living in Saraya Mud houses. They are nice and cool ( literally also). The cafe is fantastic. the preparation is simple and delicious. Pizzas from their wood fired owen are mouthwatering!!!

Saraya is a very pretty EcoStay on Porvorim road. negative review is due to dogs barking through out the night next to the room.
