Shaheen Bagh - A Luxury Boutique Resort & Spa

Let me be very clear before you consider booking this heaven. This property is very far (15Km) from city so unless you have come with your own vehicle or can afford a 700Rupees trip every day or on a Break from life, this place is not for you and if you come after reading this please don't reduce rating for this awesome place. All said and done this trip of mine was for a small business come break trip with a friend. I decided to book the place getting the good vibes of Hospitality of the owner from the earlier reviews. I contacted them and trust me it didn't feel a bit like I am talking to a Hotel Management person.When I reached there,the owners were standing with a warm welcoming heart. Its a British style bungalow with a new wing built in modern ways. Its more of a farmhouse with everything at your disposal. The place have few bedrooms a large dining table and Living, accessible to every guest including of the people coming to meet you. Mr Arun Gupta have his own Giant Library of DVDs and Books in pretty much Mint condition. The view from the Balcony could have been similar to the professional photos uploaded by trimming down the trees a bit. The open lawn space is a natural beauty. The pool have best and freshest water I have ever dipped in. They have this Cricket pitch too if you have got will to take out the Sachin inside,HAHAHA. We played Badminton, Carrom and Chess. As we were the only guests during the stay , I felt like its our farmhouse with dressed servers. The Room we took was Green Room. The names are referring to the color theme except the Master bedroom which is more of a Suite with separate living and a giant washroom. Our room was prepared by a Camphor diffuser. Its a good absorbent of odor and the room was fresh like heaven. Although the Mattress could have been better. The Rooms did have mosquitoes which wasn't a surprise knowing the greenery. The washroom were clean and the products were Organic. Fresh Towels and warm water were the things that need to be taken care of. Let's talk about food now. The dining table I talked about is used to serve everyone in home style with options of Veg and Non Veg. They serve a variety of dishes. I will suggest of you are coming on a break from hectic life style please pre book your food. The breakfast had atleast 4 Solid Food and fruits with Boxed Juice. Tea served is Okay because as tasty food raised the expectations. The dinner was also an awesome experience. They have this British style Table bell for calling the waiter which was actually fascinating. The place is less of a Hotel more of a getaway from the hectic life we always talk about. Come here with friends or family or even alone.Its worth it. Do yoga, meditate, walk, Play or swim. "Feel the new yo" should be the tagline of this Hotel. Although alcohol is not served here , You can bring your own and use the little fridge in your room. I am very pleased with the efforts the couple have put up here. Both of them reminded me of my parents and I spent a lot of amount with them talking about family and life. I actually am fond of both of them as they are very complimentary to each other. I wish my best to them for life. This place is the child of Mr and Mrs Gupta. The amount of care they have taken of same is beyond imagination. I remember while booking Mr Gupta gave me very good deal with the food prices but while billing both of us forgot the same and he charged me 1000 Rs more. I didn't remember that and paid the amount.On day i cheched out, In the evening he called and told me same and asked my bank details with apologies for the misplace. I wouldn't have minded even if he forgot or any thing. A few days later he also whatsapped me the Deposit slip and the amount was credited. Wonderfully honest man. Travellers Tip- Prebook food if you are coming for getaway. Bring your vehicle or hire one if its a tourist trip. Try booking when the owners are present. TIP for Non Indians- Please do call owners before booking as you might face language problems. Inform about your food needs if you have any specifics. Use the Internet for local know hows. Use  Cab/Taxi  to travel around city. Call me 24x7 if stuck anywhere in India on  , I will try to get you best possible help from authorities. SUGGESTIONS to management- Please Take care of your wifi. A little more training to boys will do wonders though still they are very good. A small bars pace isn't mandatory but would be well appreciated. The warm water issue needs to be rectified. The pool side chairs are broken.

I will never recommend dis hotel. the owner has no business ethics. we had one week advance booking (confirmd) in dis hotel. when v reached d resort, the owner told us that dere is no booking in our name. that was very akward situation as we were travelling wid our one year kid since early morning from gurgaon. we requested her that v dont hav any other option but she was very rude. she has sold out that room to walk in customer cause walk in pay more than online customer. n that tym all d hotels were buked in dehradun. so v have to come all d way to mussoorie n goibibo arranged another room for us. But v faced a lot of problem as in mussoorie it was very cold n v were not carrying woolens. then v again called up shaheen bagh...for just asking them that how can they do such things..n told d owner that I will write ur review then she threatened me that she will file a Defamation (Maanhani) case. after her dis case file threaten now I hav decided that I will file case on her. why shud v people suffer because of such business minded people.

Goibibo is a cheat .... They gave me a confirmed booking on Shaheen Bagh .through booking number HTL63Z9QL3. .... I decided to travel with my family and a infant of 3 month. I get a call on the day of travel at 2pm that my booking is confirmed and they will book a different hotel which is lower rating .. I refused and had to find a new place and pay double .....Never every book through Ibibo again

Worst resort. Never recommend to anyone Unhygenic pool. Smelly rooms. Worst food. In snacks u can expect smelly frenchfries of rs. 300 per plate. Bad ambiance. Owner always say sorry i can't afford hygenie..can't afford manager..cant afford cook. Then sorry to say why u opened such worst resort to waste our money and time.
