I think they should put up a sign outside so that people arriving (especially at night!) will know which house is the villa. It didn't even have a paper sign saying the name. Also, the location and phone number listed on this app were incorrect. I had to go through the help section to get the real info. The room needed some deep cleaning, paint, and a handyman, but it was okay for me overall. The staff were nice and helpful and the food they made was delicious!

There cannot be a better place to stay in shanti niketan than this. Quiet, peaceful, plenty of space, situated in central area but still the countryside vibes, majestic and grand in its interior, too beautiful to miss. prices are okay for the rooms. Owners are good, everything's available. Main campus, markets and every other important thing is just around the corner. Do feel what I felt. Happy Travelling.

For that price not having an attached toilet is something we needed to know. The toilet is just outside the room but a shared one. Fortunately no one else was there in the adjacent room. It's a room in a house. The rooms are well maintained and common area is tastefully done. Caretaker prepared good food on request.

Good home stay. Bathroom was not attached but it was exclusively for us only. So no problem faced. Good maintained room and excellent common area. Location wise also good. Equi-distant from the station and viswabharati. The newly made Bangladesh Bhawan is just a field apart.

There is no proper food system like we get generally in hotels. Very costly food. The care taker charges INR 100 per person for preparing food. We have been charged INR 500 for rice, dal, alu bhaja paneer and chutny for two persons.

services are not at all worth it. no proper food. no coordination. quite disappointed. location wise it is better. But on both days we have to depend on outside food. that too the second day's food was not at all edible.

The small, claustrophobic and dingy room was two steps down like a sink. Being requested, I was shifted to a bigger room. Toilet towel shabby. Pieces of hair were found twice in food. Caretaker refused to give cash memo.

CALM AND QUIET PLACE. LITTLE FAR FROM MARKET. Recognized AS 'ARGHYA HOUSE'. the caretaker is helpful, fooding is very high in price. nearby eats are available. Everything was fine due to good weather.

It was difficult for me to find out the location and there was so much chaos that I traveled 1 KM in 3 hours. I didn't availed any food. Staff was managing the services and overall stay was fine.

Room was nice but smell of smoke was there. It was like living in ur home. No food facility.
