Hotel is centrally located, near the main market. Standard room booked by me was very clean and decent with a good view of the surrounding hills. Hotel has an in-house restaurant and excellent food is readily provided. Staff is helpful and courteous and good room service is provided. Parking facility is provided. I had a very good stay.

I had already heard about shikhar hotel and during my this trip I have seen their excellent hospitality, from checkin till my checkout their professionalism is excellent. Food is awesome, room service excellent. I recommend this hotel to everyone. definitely I will visit this hotel again.

I stayed here with my BF. It was completely safe. I liked the fact that they had a nice Balcony from where you could see the Almora city. you can also see the sunrise if there is no fog. The food was Okay. I liked the chicken pakoras and tomato soup.

As we heard from the locals this hotel is one of the oldest hotels in almora it certainly was the finest among all the hotels we stayed during the trip. Prompt and wonderful room service, food and facilities. certainly an 5 star rated hotel
