Shivohm Inn Homestay | 400mts from Kashi Temple

We had a one week stay. It was very pleasant. The owner and his wife were very helpful in assisting us for any queries and requests that we had. The most positive thing about the stay is the location. It's just 500 mts from Dashashwameth ghat and temple. so whenever we want we can easily walk to the ghat. The rooms were decent and clean. They also had kitchen. So tea, maggi n all we can order from them for a reasonable price. The only difficulty we faced was to find the location, because the vehicle won't go till this stay. we had to get down at girija ghar charuraha and walk with the luggages. since we were new to the location we followed google map for the walk, which showed a bit longer route. Finally the owner came half way through and guided us to the location. During our checkout, two staff boys from the stay helped us to bring our luggage to the car.

Two stay bedroom is pretty averagish, good side is affordability considering the prices in Varanasi. Washroom is clean. This place is more accessible and near to all the temples which is kind of advantage. Those who are looking for classy and ambience kind of roads, this doesn't suits them, the road to reach here gives the vibe of authentic Kashi roads, which is personal choice. The people who manage are generous and allowed us to keep our luggage for additional time.

Good Homestay very near to Baba Biswanath Temple. Behaviour of Owner and Staff are very cordial and helpful. Location of the hotel is inside "Gali" and visitor may please take help from Hotel after reaching at Benaras. Presently no transport movement is allowed beyond Godulia crossing hence very senior person / aged person need to be mentally prepared for some walk after reaching at Godulia / Church crossing.

I appreciate the service provided during the stay. The staff is polite and supportive. I would have rated 5 stars but the only drawback is it's quite inside and not easy to locate. The road near to stay is dirty and cowdung all over. Rooms are clean and well maintained bathrooms. Food taste is below average.
