As soon as I reported at the reception today early morning to request for an early check-in, I was blankly refused any room as the person did not have any idea of ..booking. The hotel was full of people from the Jain community for some event in the town. Somehow after a few phone calls I was given a room with an Indian style toilet, a room in which one can hardly move around, small insects and cockroaches in the almirah and in the room and out of the two plug points (one was for the TV), one was not working. The tubelight was flickering because of voltage fluctuations. The room however had a window with some sunlight coming through. As usual the hot water through one of the tap took considerable time. The breakfast in which I ordered a paratha was well prepared. The almirah is really small with no hangers - so in a way there is no place u can hang clothes. As soon as I got ready and came down to the reception, I was told that I will have to leave the room as it is booked for someone else. This despite of my confirmed reservation for 2 nights. I argued and they agreed to adjust in the hotel itself. In the evening when I returned from my field visit, I was given another room in which the plug points were working fine although the pillow covers were dirty, the flush was dripping, the wash basin tap was loose and the bathroom was overall unclean. I had to call the room boy to clean the room after I checked in which means that the hotel management did not even ensure to clean the room before alloting it to the guest.

Dirty bed sheet, Dirty pillow, Dirty bathroom, Dirty premises... Everything is dirty, Dirty kitchen facility.. Dinner comes from outside... Lalitpur ka worst place...

Room was not good, Not at all clean and maintained. Cockroach was there in rooms. No proper services.
