HOTEL SUKHVILAS

I was there on a biking trip with my wife. This is a homestay rather than Hotel. The property was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. It was difficult to search this homestay as it is located within the premises of a nursing home. Very confusing. The staff especially the owner was very inattentive to the customers. I never found anyone on the reception. Noone ever asked whether guests are having a good time or if we need anything. No welcome/goodbye/smile gestures. Very disappointing. At first, owner refused to accept that breakfast is included in the room package, but when i showed him the emails and Goibibo app that breakfast is already included in the room booking, he agreed but with hesitation. A very bad gesture from business point of view especially when your property is so hard to reach by normal customer and there is such a fierce competition in hotels in Jaipur. Only positive side is the geographical location of this property. It is located at 50m from main JLN road (Jawahar Lal Nehru Road), Birla mandir and Moti Doongri mandir are at walking distance from the hotel. Albert hall, Bapu bazaar, central park are at 5min distance by your vehicle. Hawa Mahal, city palace, Jantar mantar are also within 10-15min distance. This homestay is literally at the center of tourist section of the city. So no problems in reaching anywhere in the city. That's why i've recommended this homestay for single tourists, 2-4 people groups, or anyone who wants a basic room at cheap prices.

I visited jaipur on weekend on urgent basis and couldnt research well and book this place as it was closest to where i had work. There were negative reviews which i ignored and anyway booked However, please dont go by the reviews, they are not genuine. There are many things to be told about this place. I will start right from the parking space, its not good and is a headache, you will waste a lot of time asking them to remove the other car if u want to go out. Second thing is about the rooms, i booked a premium in which i was promised a bigger room with good facilities. But its was pathetic. They showed you different thing on the hotel and what i got was different and was in completely different building which is half constructed and ongoing construction work. They make so much delays in service and sending breakfast which itself was very poor quality and inspite of poor services, they seemed arrogant. Bathrooms were not upto the mark and struggled to get hot water in this weather as geyser was not functioning properly. No sufficient soaps or bath gels were provided. No water bottles provided, they gave and open jug with water and its was not sealed water. Coffee and Tea were pathetic And lastly at checkoutx theh tried to charge me extra for breakfast which was included in the package, although i pointed out the issue at which he agreed that he is making a mistake. Overall, its a bad experience and not a good place to stay if you are visiting jaipur

So I had stayed here earlier too and because of its location and the feeling of being at home made it 10 on 10. This time I felt the maintainance of the rooms and staff behavior came as a big shocker to me. I had to ask for towels, toiletries, toilet paper, etc. The towels we really old. They denied me lunch at 2 pm whereas I clearly asked one the staff about the timings. When I checked out, none of the staff bothered to look around the room yet next day they sent me a bill including a broken glass. There was no such thing when I left the room. I really hope they work on these basic things as the place is still beautiful and good to stay.

My room was very clean and airy. Service guy Upender was very welcoming and willing to serve upto the expectations. Washroom too was spacious and spotless. Sitting area outside was pleasant and Car parking is available there inside the premises. Overall stay was good :)
