Hotel O Ahmamau Formerly Hotel Balaji

When reached hotel for check in the person at the reception started making calls to somebody to ask which room to give as they had overbooked. They asked me to go in one room (room 106) and freshen up and they said they will change room shortly. The room was filthy. When complained they sprayed some fragrance in it. After some time when i asked about the room change they said the room was fine and asked me to stay in the same room. During the night around 3am the light went out. I waited for half an hour thinking it will come back on. Then went downstairs to complain, the hotel staff started checking where the fault was. They did that for half and hour and in the meantime room started filling up with smoke i guess due to some short circuit. They asked me to change room, I along with my family was sent upstairs in cramped room. It was around 4.30 am. When went to washroom the toilet was nit in working condition. Anyhow when complained, the hotel guy came twice to repair and both time said yeah its working and when checked it was still not functional. When complained again hotel staff asked us to go to a different room to freshen up and shower. There was still no electricity in that room. The hotel staff were rude, there was nobody responsible at the reception for most of the time and nobody was there to understand and solve the issue. Its not hard to imaging that we could not take shower and decided to check out asap. When went to reception to give keys the guys were like they could not give a damn! Not even a single sorry for the issues all night and morning. Definitely the worst experience in lucknow. Also i think i woke up at the right time during the night as room was filling up with smoke and i did not see any fire fighting equipment in the hotel nor any fire exit in case of emergency.

Delightful experience! The restaurant was a culinary masterpiece, and the spa was a peaceful retreat. The service was impeccable, and the staff made sure I felt completely at ease throughout my stay.

Very impressed with this hotel. The room was cozy, clean, and well-decorated. The city view was beautiful, and the staff was courteous and friendly.
