I would anyday recommend Surguru as it has multiple benefits which anyone will look for, specially vegetarian families. Firstly I will talk about the location benefit. Surguru is exactly 1.2 KM to the rock beach, 1.1 km from Bharathi park, 900 m from Aurobindo Ashram, Just a few steps away from the main market road where you can shop. Secondly, rooms are very neat and clean. Water bottles, Towel, Soap and Shampoo available. You have to take your own dryer, toothpaste and brush if you choose standard double room. Tariff was also very reasonable as compared to the nearby stays. Last but not the least food was awesome and the all staffs were very friendly and courteous. I felt great with the hospitality I experienced. Only problem I had was with room service when I ordered coffee and tea, it took sometime and multiple follow ups. That's not a big issue though. Overall I was very happy as it is worth the money.

Had a great stay at Hotel Surguru during our visit to Pondicherry. The location is very convenient—close to key attractions and easy to access. The food was really good, with a nice variety of tasty dishes. The rooms were super nice, clean, and cosy—perfect for a relaxing stay. Added bonus: ample parking space, which made things very hassle-free. Definitely a solid choice for anyone visiting the city.

Excellent location can be able to walk to Aurobindo Ashram, Manakula Vinayagar temple on the way to beach,Shiva and Vishnu temples are just walkable, close to shopping area for shopping lovers. Sincere housekeeping staff courteous front office staff Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ample parking space with full security.

We enjoyed our stay for 2 days in Hotel Surguru. The ambience was very good. The Hotel is centrally located to many important places in Pondicherry. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The standard of food was great. What more can any traveller expect from a Hotel anywhere? Sivakumar.

absolutely enjoyed the stay there☺️near to ashram, shopping areas, good car parking and also service. never had any issue during the stay with family. it was perfect for family and all facilities are available in the neighbourhood as well as in hotel.

rooms are bigger. clean . beds are cofortable. location was good. breakfast was awesome.,lot of vatieties. staffs were good. overall good place to stay with family, friend etc. love to come here again all were good and we enjoyed a lot as we expected.

Its under renovation though it's almost done up. Clean and cozy AC rooms were comfortable. The morning complementary breakfast was good. Its central location was a big advantage. Housekeeping and room service was excellent. Nice place to stay
