General - We four 60+ friends stayed there for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the calm location and warm, cordial attitude of the owner. The owner stays on the first floor above the garage. His large open-to-sky balcony has many flowering plants - a treat for the eyes. This 2 BHK Unit is on the 2nd floor hence it offers an UNOBSTRUCTED view of the hills towards Raja's seat from the Living and Master bedroom - it is a plus point of this property. The unit has no AC. Only fans in bed n living room. It has a foil ceiling. The climate of Coorg is moderate in summer and cold in winter. We stayed in mid-November 2021 and didn't even need to run fans. Not faced water shortage issues during our stay. Found a few books for reading.Bed Room - 3 double beds and 1 single bed in 2 bedrooms and 1 divan in the living room can allow 8 people to sleep comfortably. Toilet- 1 toilet is of moderate size, has western type closet, geyser, 2 buckets, 2 mugs, bathing stool, soap, disinfectant, harpist, toilet brush, etc but no towel and shower. We carry our own towel hence no issues for us. No ventilation or foul smell issues were noticed. The commode and seat are reasonably clean. 2nd toilet is small having Indian type closet. It is not for bathing. It has No flush cistern, only a tap, and a small bucket. Washbasin with mirror is located in a covered verandah where one can hang wet clothes after washing. Open terrace fitted with strings for drying clothes under the sun.Living room - Quite spacious (approx 11x20 feet) having 1 divan, 3x2 sofa set, 1 plastic round dining table & 4 chairs, 21" LCD TV with cable connection, a dressing table, a small carrom board, an ironing table. enough for few days outing with max 8 members.Kitchen - has Aquaguard, single burner oven, gas cylinder, pressure cooker, handi, kadai, plates, cups and some essential utensils for cooking.Parking - car can be parked in open outside the house. Residential area, no public traffic on this lane.

one of the fantastic experience from goibibo. to start with it was a trip to coorg when we booked the property for one day being the most affordable one and having best reviews. The owner of the homestay is an x army man who is very gentle and so friendly,received us . after entering the 2bhk apartment we could see fully positive vibe,i would like to list it down . *Location is very near to the main town. *it's a calm and quiet place surrounded by residential apartments *you have 2 bedroom,1 hall with 2 extra beds and dining table chair, tv and even carrom board. also 2 toilets indian and european with geaser, and even a washing area.a terrace in the behind can be used as drying area too. *the kitchen is equipped with single burner stove and have basic utensils and pans,rice cooker etc. our group had a fantastic experience with Tanya homestay, i would suggest this property to all . cooking and having it together, ample space for our group. everything was sufficient for a group

nice location , nearest for all ex: temple, port, raja seat,hotel,city bus stand,museum all places are 100-200 mtr distance from the this home stay. good hospitality, we reached late night until owner waiting for us . we are happy in this home stay, best for family, and also best for group tour. room: 2 bed room,1 kitchen ( gas stove with gas , plates furnished without masala powder),1 toilet( indian),1 toilet( english )with bathroom,1 hall, big balcony( open back side),1 dress washing room with stone. my rate for everything including owner behaviour 5 star. thank you goibibo application .

Experience of the stay was simply fabulous. Host of the property is very friendly and takes care of you very well. property is well equipped with the needs of a family and can accommodate 7-8 people easily. places to visit in the area are close by and there are plenty of eateries in walkable distance. Homestay was clean. Map details provided by Goibibo was inaccurate and host mentioned that he is trying to correct it. Google map location is accurate. Plenty of options to spend time with family inside the property and necessary equipment to take care of the younger members of the family

"i recently had the pleasure of staying at this homestay, and i must say, it was an absolute delight! the moment i stepped in, i felt a sense of calm wash over me. the decor was tasteful, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making sure i had everything i needed during my stay. the rooms were spotless, and the bed was comfortable. what struck me most was the peaceful atmosphere. it was the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. i felt rejuvenated and refreshed during my entire stay

The locality and the view is mindblowing from this homestay. We had a wonderful stay! very comfortable and affordable. The house was very clean and well organised before we came. They provide a well equipped kitchen too if you need to cook at home. The proximity from Madikeri bus stand is hardly 5minutes. We were only three people but the home could accommodate like a group of 6-8 easily. I would recommend this place for families and large groups. The host and their family were very cordial and lovely. Comforting home after a long day.

We booked this place for our family weekend vacation. For me it's a best Place to stay in Coorg Madekri, Host was very helpful, Rooms are large and clean & view from Drawing room and bedroom was fabulous, all the essential things you will get near by, Host also helped us in booking cab for site visit which was the best and also at the reasonable price. Bus Stand is only 600m away from the Stay. Value for money. We are here with the family and fully satisfied with hospitality. Definitely we will visit it again.

I booked it randomly due to a change in our travel itinerary. And it proved to be worth staying. They provided entire 2Bhk home which has a sunset view from the valley. 6-7 people can stay at ease. We decided to stay and chill in the house rather than sightseeing. The landlords are super cool. They were like a family friend to us. nulltheless, the next visit in Coorg will be their homestay entirely. Thanks. They were friendly and very interactive.

I stayed here in December, 2018 and booked for second time due to extreme good homestay and extreme good behaviour by owner. Though this time we could not stay due to flood at Kodagu but owner has kept in touch with us continuously from few days back and updated about the situation of the flood of the locality. such a gentle woman with such a good homestay you will not find in coorg.

great location, easily accessible to eateries, hotels, Madekeri Fort and market. thanks to all the people who gave the perfect review, the place was just as stated in the review beautiful and serene. equipped with refrigerator, stove and great surprise was a carrom board, we just loved to spend the night playing.

The homestay is very nice. Bus stand and eateries are all in walkable distance. Raja seat park is very near and can be reached on foot. Rooms are very clean. The owner and his family are very cooperative. Only suggestion for the owner is to repair the doors and the locks.

quite an amazing place to stay. very clean and had a carro. board which we played after a long time with kids. had story books which we read for kids. very nice and clean wash rooms..we also had Indian wash rooms. finally too good a place to stay with FAMILY
