We booked this property in a hurry as we had business in a nearby location. Let me list out things that made me give this property a low rating (trip advisor doesn't have minus ratings, w which this property fully deserves)1. The room doesn't have anything to offer for the price.2. Floor creeks, Staff is rude, the kitchen seems like working out of neighborhood shop as each order takes centuries to arrive. It's better to eat outside rather than wait for this average food.3. They don't put anything in your room -TILL YOU ASK? Things which are routine like your towel or hand soap for instance.

The hotel is located in a very prime area, but the street on which the actual hotel is quite narrow. The hotel is very old, more than 200 years. Considering that, they have maintained is quite well. The rooms located in the front area are big and spacious as compared to the rooms behind. Services are very good and prompt, but since the hotel is very old one has to adjust to few things. Damp linen, old plumbing, old smell. So if you are looking for a historical experience, this is just the place. Many old celebrities have visited this hotel and they have a wall of fame for it.

I booked the property seeing the gallery pictures and guest reviews but when i went there it was a little dissapointment. The property has not been maintained properly. Knowing its a heritage property, the authority should have maintained the furnitures, the cracked walls, the hygiene and cleanliness.

We reached before the check in time but the staff was very curteous. They gave one room early snd then arranged for the other one. Clean room and very pleasant feeling. Good place to stay👍🏻👌🏻 It is a great place to stay with the family. Very safe and central place👍🏻

Hotel gives a feeling to stay in a heritage property. Eclxcellent location, cordial stuff. Good ambient and cleanliness. Only issue I found less variety of food is available for dinner they can include few variety of famous dishes what Bengali people like.

... This property is a pretty old building, a house, being converted to a hotel. The rooms are lowsy, bed is a stupid bed, room is stinking!! I won't even pay **rs for this room, if I had to book on my own. ..
