the staff is very rude and arrogant. they dont even know how to deal with customers. the location of the place is very very bad. therr is no view ...its heavily over priced. prices are secondary but staff behavior is actually the real thing which potreys ur overall quality. i wont suggest this place to anyone esp. when u r travelling with family...

Me with my family stay two night in Family Room at ground floor adjacent to kitchen from where can not enjoy natural view therefore our trip was waste. They have very limited menu food quality was good. In 2nd day breakfast they serve Paratha which was at least 2 ínch thick and not cooked well also. My suggestion to traveller is do not stay family room near kitchen other rooms seems good. All staff including management are not friendly and do not ask feedback.

very serene, secluded, beautiful house with good aminities and very polite and humble staff. its basically an old house renovated to be a small hideout from the hustle of city. nainital has outgrown to be very commercial but a visit to hive relaxes you to core bottom. its far from mall road and ur personal vechile is must , else dont book this place. but if u hav a full time vechile with you.. should only opt for this place.. very tastefully done interiors, big spacious rooms with all modern ...more

our stay at hive cottage was very comfortable and pleasing. the caretakers Prakash n manohar were right on their toes always to make sure that our stay is comfortable. 1. breakfast shud have more options nd can be made in a better way. Hive cottage me hamne 3 din guzare ek alag ahsas hua yaha pe aa k .hamari zindagi ke sabse acche Dino me se ye 3 din rahe.beautiful.mast staf hai yaha ka.khana bilkul ghar ki tarah. hame bilkul nahi laga k ham ghar ke bahar h.happy moments of my life in the hive cottage

You won't get any view from the cottage but you won't regret staying there. Staff and service are good. room is good. ambience good. Tiffin Top Trek is near by. From Tiffin Top you can get a fantastic view of Himalayas Snow. Silent place and pleasant atmosphere.

Awesome place to stay...closest to nature...very peaceful...its soo good that I booked it again a day later coz couldn’t get the next day booking...secluded...peaceful and international standard hotel by all means...All in all must visit place

nice and peaceful place to stay...at height from mall road...10 min down walk to mall road from hotel.....while for return to cottage..have to take taxi ( 150 bucks)....well maintained place .....and very courteous staff.....
