I'm half Indian and half European. I was born and brough up in Finland but settled in India 5 years ago leaving my family and friends behind in order to live in Chennai and take care of my 9 adopted indie dogs at home. I miss my life in Finland a lot but I am commited to caring for the unwanted and unloved for in society and want to make a positive impact in the world. I am a passionate host of two homestays and on the side I help to care for street dogs in Mahabalipuram. Fun fact: At the homestay you can find Inner Healing cards created by me and art by me, my sister and my mother. I absolutely love being creative and providing others with the inspiration and comfort they deserve in life. How did I end up working in this field? Well, I used to run a small guesthouse with my former partner in Mahabalipuram and through discovered my love for the hospitality industry. Then years later, back in 2020 I started developing the garden of my own house and decided to turn the entire placee into a homestay. It has been a dream project and passion for me ever since. I feel truly blessed to be able to offer my guests a unique stay experience while at the same time earning money to have a comfortable life for my 9 babies, my street dogs and myself. In everything I do, I strive to offer good quality and value so with my homestays I want to offer guests an unforgettable experience. I want to make a positive difference in the world and I believe that this is done on a daily basis by making conscious choices about how I earn my money, how I spend it, what I eat and what I do to make the lives of others around me easier. Whoever you are, no matter your background and origin, you are most welcome to book a stay at the Pink Villa. And couples are ofcourse allowed too. Pets are also welcome to stay.
