The Desert Palace Jaisalmer, is by far the best Hotel i could think of in Jaisalmer. I planned a 2 Nights visit to Jaisalmer for 21-23 Dec 2019 and booked this hotel, and believe me it is an amazing place. I had a word with Mr. Saurabh from the Hotel Staff and told him about my visit and also that its my wife's birthday while we are at the Hotel. He Not only upgraded our Room to the available Suite Room but also he gave a surprise of a completely decorated Suite room with flowers baloons and a midnight surprise cake. Thanks for such a sweet gesture. Now coming back to the Hotel review, The complete ambience, service, Food and everything is just great at this place. They welcomed us with a Tilak and Welcome drink. They also have a folk dance/cultural program and magic show setup in the hotel itself in the evening along with bonnfire and dancing. Food is very tasty with so many varieties at all meal timings. Staff is very cooperative , helpful and always there to help. Pool area looks good. All the lobbies are beautiful. Terrace area is amazing. In short this Hotel is in itself a complete Palace to cherish about. Definitely going to recommend The Desert Palace Jaisalmer to everyone. :) The staff greeted us very well.. and the complete aura was perfect..

The Good - 1. Food quality - yummy, serving size, service quality. 2. Folks dances and songs. 3. Magic show! 4. Property decor from the outside and inside was awesome and beautiful. Truly heritage look. 5. Rooms were clean but furniture looks dated and need update / polish. 6. Restaurant folks were considerate and nice enough to pack breakfast for us from buffet since my stomach wasn't well at that time early in the morning. The Average - 1. Toilets were dated. Need to be updated. 2. At this cost, I would expect centrally heated and not in-room blow heaters. 3. Location - nothing nearby. 4. Gym is basic. The bad - 1. Hot water supply was broken in the washroom. These are basic checks before assigning room to the customer. 2. One of the House Keeping staff member was rude and impolite. Reported him to the Hotel Management. Lacks training.

Just an amazing experience at the desert palace. Rooms were so lavish, it was a real royal stay. Bathroom was so big... Room was very spacious. Linens & bathrobes were very neat & clean. Room was sanitized nicely before Check in. Food was also tasty and delicious, less spicy. Amazing family enviornment. It was a Good time at the desert palace. One can take a long walk in the terrace of the hotel. Hotel had a well maintained swimming pool. At every point around the hotel had a sitting area, where you can enjoy the cool breeze at the evening time. One of the best family vacation spot in Jaisalmer. Thumbs up for "The Desert palace "

Had read good reviews of this place and zeroed on it for our stay in jaisalmer. Its a new property and the rooms are spick and span. They are very spacious too. What makes it extra special is the hospitality. Mr Jyotiraditya took care of all our special needs as we were traveling with two kids and made the stay a very memorable one. All the staff is very helpful and is always ready to help.The food is tasty too. Would strongly recommend this place.

Piceful location. It is before Jaisalmer city and near to National Highway easily traceable location. Very good staff and wearing mask and uniform all times. Food and catering staff was excellent but when booking of rooms was less, than break fast items was not preaperd fully like sweat dishes was missing. Room was good and daily maintenance was also good. Swimming area was good. Piceful location.

Stay was beautiful and comfortable. Somethings are little higher in menu. Housekeeping is slow I asked for Toiletries and they never came back in 3 days. I asked for scissors but no response. Looks like in making the things big they are lacking in small details. Dental kit and Toiletries are like hard or impossible to get otherwise nice stay

Property is very beautiful. Rooms are huge & were in immaculate condition when we reached there. I visited there with 8 of my family members on Holi. Hotel had organized Gala brunch, rain dance & DJ which was very good. We even had a lovely time in the swimming pool area.

half of the items mention in food Menu is not available...single desert option available although mentioned 4-5 items in the Menu.... Early check in at 10 am...No liquor/Bar licence however they will serve you liquor but charge for Juice
