V Cottage Manali

I am a very frequent traveller and has seen almost most of the India and have been trying all the Category of Hotels depending upon the utility. i visit Manali in Aug and luckily Found V Cottage Manali while visiting Hadimba Mata Temple and instantly without fail i decided to change my current hotel and stay in this beautiful villa but i was a bit spectacle about the inner story.However since i love to explore new stuff i checked in to this property and trust me it was the best decision that i took. To begin what attracted me the most was the location which is peaceful and calm, you can see beautiful forests from the Rooms and even the JOGINI Water falls, imagine how beautiful it is to start you day with the wonderful surroundings. Rooms: The Rooms are adequate in size with almost all the modern facilities needed.Hot water facilities are proper and the washroom is also very neat, clean and well maintained. Food: The Food Quality is just wonderful, they have a wide range of the stuff and i tried many things which turned out to be delicious, the breakfast is served on time and is the best in range. But what made this is a memorable experience is the OWNERS "Mrs Ranu Thakur & Mr Pyar Singh" who are the minds behind this hidden gem. They are highly customer service oriented and know what the customer needs. One of my friend was not feeling well and i just called Mr Singh in the night and he immediately came to the rescue and helped us due to which we were able to continue with our existing plan or else we would have to cancel the pre decided program. They also arranged Bikes for us for our further tour to Leh and ensured that we are pedal ready to move and also gave us much information which was worth and because of them only we had a great time in leh as well. I would highly recommend this Cottage as this is the Best Ever place i have stayed and to note i never felt like that i am staying at a Hotel but the in house environment is very lively and positive which gives you good vibes. Although i was not having any plans in near future to visit Manali but after visiting and meeting such lovely people and location i am going there again in January 2018. This review is based on my personal experience. Few may find it contradictory to others review but it's genuine and fair and is based on my experience. The place is far from mall road and it will take huge efforts to reach here. The road is too small and huge traffic jams and quite often here. Need to climb the hills to reach here and its very difficult sometimes. Rooms are really good and considering the price range it's fair enough. Hot water is available always. Even TV was not there in the room and on demanding the same, the staff declined the request. Later on contacted the mobile number which was provided while booking the hotel and he assured me to fix the issue and later on tv was provided. It's just behind the hadimba temple so accessing hadimba temple is quite easy. Rooms are very close to each other but for bachelors it's quite good. Food is available till 10 30 at night and they won't provide it later on. Reaching this place from mall road at late night will be a daunting task due to the cold climate, uphill road and non availability of vehicles after 11 pm. Over all I believe it's a fair deal and if you prefer a place with all necessities near by then i won't suggest you this place. If you rent a bike here and you enjoy a peace and calm environment then this place may suit you. Had to face too much bad experience from the owner of the cottage including abusive language. So i may not suggest anyone to go here.

Located just near the fort of Hadimba temple (perfect location),I am Dam Sure You will feel there Real nature and the hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality.The hotel owner Mr. Piyar Singh ji is very helpful Guy and will guide u throughout your stay.The staffs were very very helpful.The hotel provides u almost every facilities from good rooms 24Hour Hot Water And 24 hour customer support And hotel was great.wen i say food was great(i mean it :))Overall experience was awesome.I'll recommend This hotel to every couple and families:). You wont regret,just be there:) i giving rating 5 Out Of 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Budget styled hotel that is away from the main Mall and all the noise. Rooms were adequate and the washroom had hot water all day. The staff and owners are really welcoming and friendly and I extended my stay for another couple of days. Hotel is walking distance from Hidimba Temple, Van Vihar Park and Manali museum. What could have been added to the hotel is a room heater/water heater. Being a budget hotel, soundproofing is pretty bad as the walls aren't thick and you can hear people in the room beside you. Overall, had a good and peaceful stay. I'd definitely head back there next time...
