White Pearl Homestay

Pros: The room 106 is neat. Washroom is clean, Geyser, AC are in working condition. The cook here is very good. We had a tasty Dinner from their Menu. Cons: Farther from the city center, less availability of transport. Owner couldn't deliver his promises regarding transport. My take, he needn't assure us on the transport if he has no control on the same. Will bring two incidents on this forefront that we experienced: 1. Free pick up from the Airport was mentioned while booking. Driver Isha, relative of the Owner, came and picked us up from the Airport. By Afternoon when he realised that we are not going to tour with him he openly asked for the Pick up money. We were surprised and told him that a Free pick up was mentioned or else we could have made our own arrangements instead of waiting for him at the Airport. Thankfully he didn't persuade anymore. 2. We booked a tour to Baratang, for which we have to leave early in the morning, 3.30am, to the nearest junction as per the Bus route. So, before we made our booking we spoke to the Owner about this. He assured to arrange us a transport in that odd hours, in the worst case if he couldn't manage one he said he will drop us himself in his car. With this kind of assurance we went ahead with the booking. Alas! when the time came he suggested us a driver. We contacted the driver only to find out that he isn't interested in picking us up in such early hours. We informed the same to the owner and surprisingly the Owner's response was not supportive at all. We understood the situation and immediately went on the task by ourselves and found a reliable driver after a strainsome search on the streets. We would have been well off even if the owner didn't promise anything on the transport front. Why to promise at the time of booking and why to find it difficult sticking to it when the time demands. Overall, the property is neat, cook is good, price is reasonable, only the commute is bit of an issue.

Prons: 1. Checkin experience at hotel was good. 2. We stay here for two days and they provide us an free breakfast. 3. They have their own kitchen on the ground floor and separate open dining area on 1st floor. 4. Kitchen staff and reception staff was good, they also help us with renting a scooty. 5. This property is near to Chidiya Tapu beach Cons: 1. The only major con of this property is 7.3 km away from airport and jetty. And autos are not easily available nearby. So we recommend to take mobile number auto driver from scooty rental person. 2. Only two scooty can parked inside the property. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would recommend it for those looking for a peaceful getaway near Chidiya Tapu. 1. The property was really beautiful especially the dining area. 2. They have surrounded speakers in the dining area where they allow us to play our favourite songs. 3. It is a value for money property. 4. The sunset at chidya tapu was awesome. 5. And the free breakfast worth the price for us. 6. Having cctv cameras all over the property.

Overall it was really awesome experience.The hotel location is good , just 15 min drive from airport. The corbyns cove beach is very near. The outside view of hotel is amazing, you can see long trees just outside the hotel which is breathtaking.The rooms are clean.The best and most important part of the hotel is their staff behaviour, they are very polite and innocent people, always ready to help you, special thanks to the lady cook, she makes really delicious food. Please dont miss poha ( they call it as Chura ) and special tea from her hand. The manger of the hotel is also very polite person, he will make you fill like a family. Thank you so much for making our stay memorable.You can blindly book this hotel. Very peaceful and calm place. Light music in the evening feels really awesome.

Homestay was very good and you can njoy the nature infront of your stay. Rooms were very clean & excellent service by the staff especially Ajay the staff boy and the lady cook Bhavani, both were very sweet and helpful. Food was excellent on both quality and quantity here compaired to other restaurents nearby. The owner of the homestay Anzer Ali who helped me a lot with freey tickets & also arranged us a guide for our trip. Owner was very friendly and makes sure there customers were happy, you feel its like your home. Also the guide Arif suggested by owner took a reasonable cost for our 6 ngts 7 days trip including airport pick n drop and also all the entry tickets and speed boat tickets, it made our trip easy nd comfortable. Thanks to all once again.
