      How do I become a goTribe member?

    • Your goTribe membership is based on the total number of transactions made by you on Goibibo, within last 365 days. The minimum transaction amount for any booking to be considered for goTribe membership tier upgrade is ₹1500.

    • When will my membership end?

    • Your membership is valid for 365 days from the day you become a goTribe member for a particular tier.
    • How do I register to become a goTribe member?

    • No registration is required to become a goTribe member. Once you become eligible based on the criteria mentioned above, you automatically become part of the loyalty program.
    • Can I purchase a goTribe membership?

    • No. You must ‘earn’ the membership by qualifying the eligibility criteria on Goibibo, within last 365 days,
    • How do I know whether I am a goTribe member?

    • On your Goibibo App Home, click on “gotribe” at the Top Left corner, under your name. This will lead to your status of goTribe page. You can also go to My Profile Section by clicking on profile photo and choose goTribe under My Account section
    • If I upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2, how will my membership validity be calculated?

    • If you upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2, then your membership validity will restart from the day you become a Tier 2 member, for the next 365 days. For e.g. If you become a Tier 1 member on 1st October 2024 and if you upgrade to a Tier 2 member on 15th November 2024, you can enjoy all benefits of a Tier 2 member till 15th November 2025.
    • How is the booking amount calculated, to be considered eligible for goTribe tier upgrade or to continue with your membership?

    • The final amount you pay for a booking after adding discounts and/or goCash will be considered for goTribe tier upgrade/maintain eligibility. This amount has to be greater than or equal to ₹1500. E.g. 1 : If the price of hotel is ₹1800 and you add a discount coupon worth ₹100 and goCash worth ₹100, the final amount paid is ₹1800-100-100= ₹1600. Since this amount falls in the eligibility criteria (is greater than or equal to ₹1500), this booking is eligible for goTribe tier upgrade/maintain. E.g. 2 : If the price of hotel is ₹1600 and you add a discount coupon worth ₹100 and goCash worth ₹100, the final amount paid is ₹1600-100-100= ₹1400. Since this amount does NOT fall in the eligibility criteria (is NOT greater than or equal to ₹1500), this booking is NOT eligible for goTribe tier upgrade/maintain.

      Will I get to avail goTribe benefits on the booking from which I am becoming a goTribe member for a particular tier?

    • We consider your bookings eligible for goTribe membership only after you complete your travel or hotel stay successfully. For Example: Your total eligible booking count is 2 and you make a hotel booking worth ₹10,000 on 25th October for a check-in date of 10th November, thus increasing your total eligible booking count to 3. You will become a goTribe tier 2 member after the 25th of October and can avail your goTribe Tier 2 membership benefits for bookings post the completion of your stay.

      How to identify the hotels offering goTribe hotel discounts?

    • goTribe members can look for goTribe logo on the Hotel card to identify participating hotels. There is also a filter at the top of Listing page for goTribe participating Hotels
    • How can I avail Complimentary hotel benefits like room upgrades and meal upgrades on my booking?

    • While looking for hotels, Meal Upgrade and Room upgrade will be mentioned in the hotel cards under the goTribe logo for participating properties. While selecting the room, the user needs to select the room offering these benefits. On selection, the user will be given an option to upgrade or avail a free meal without any additional cost.
    • Terms & Conditions

    • goTribe hotel benefits are applicable only for goTribe members and are non-transferable.
    • goTribe hotel discounts are applicable only on the select set of participating hotels.
    • Participating hotels may vary from time to time and can be identified by the presence of the goTribe logo.
    • goTribe hotel benefits will be pre-applied in the hotel pricing for participating hotels.
    • goTribe members can claim goTribe discounts any number of times during their membership period (applicable only on the participating hotels).
    • goTribe hotel discounts will be applied on post discount hotel prices and taxes will be charged as per the government policy.
    • goTribe members can avail additional discounts and wallet benefits as per eligibility criteria.

      How can I redeem Complimentary Seat Selection benefit?

      Here are the steps to redeem Complimentary Seat Selection benefit:

    • Step 1: Choose your desired date & search for domestic flights
    • Step 2: Upon selecting a flight, select a paid seat of your choice. Depending on the price of the seat, it will either be a Free Seat or will come at a discounted price for you. For Discounted Seats, you will have to bear the differential amount.
    • Step 3: Complete the payment and book your ticket

    • In case of cancellation of the flight booking where you have availed the free seat, the free seat availed will be reinstated
    • In case the number of seats you are booking is more than the free seat benefit you have; you will have to pay the differential amount.
    • The free seat can be availed only on One-Way non stop flight bookings.
    • Eligible bookings:

      Where can I view my total yearly eligible bookings?

    • On your Goibibo App Home, click at the Top Left corner at your Name or go to My Profile Section by clicking on profile photo and choose goTribe under My Account section. This will lead to your status of goTribe page. The page that opens would have the details of your total bookings till date, along with how much more is required for an upgrade.
    • To view it on a desktop or mobile site, go to the 'My Profile' section on the top right of the Home page.
    • Which category of bookings are considered a part of goTribe membership?

    • All bookings made while logged into your Goibibo account, from the app, desktop or mobile site shall be considered. Flight bookings made via Google, Skyscanner and Wego will not be considered eligible for goTribe memberships. Bookings made in the logged out state will not be considered.
    • How will my total bookings be calculated?

    • Bookings with a transaction amount >= Rs. 1500 will be considered after the successful completion of your booking. In the case of ‘Book Now, Pay Later’, bookings will be added after the payment is complete. For ‘Pay at Hotel’, and ‘Pay to Driver’ bookings will be added after stay or travel is completed. Flight bookings made via Google, Skyscanner and Wego will not be considered eligible for goTribe memberships.

      What is goCash?

    • Whenever you make a booking on Goibibo, you get goCash in the form of cashback. 1 goCash is equal to ₹1. Use goCash to avail discounts while making travel bookings with Goibibo.

      Can goCash be directly used to make bookings?

    • Yes, goCash can be directly used to make bookings. goCash would be subtracted from your transaction value.
    • When does the goCash expire?

    • goCash has a validity of 90 days from the date of credit. It needs to be used to make a booking within 90 days, however, the travel can be afterwards.
    • Is there a capping on goCash earned?

    • Yes. Maximum goCash that can be availed on a booking is ₹250.
    • What is Welcome goCash?

    • You'll receive Welcome goCash of ₹100 on your 1st booking after getting upgraded to goTribe1 or goTribe2, post first booking payment completion after entering the tier .
    • If you have been upgraded to goTribe because of bookings completed before 7th Aug 2024, then you'll be credited with the Welcome goCash post travel completion of the 1st booking made in that tier. The amount will be credited within 30 days of travel complete.
    • The welcome goCash credited will become void in case of cancelation of the booking you earned the goCash from, and that goCash amount will be debited from your wallet (or adjusted against your booking refund amount in case of insufficient balance in wallet). Post that, you'll not be eligible for welcome goCash in that tier.
    • Welcome goCash will expire in 90 days of date of issue.
  • Cancellation

      Will goCash be credited even if I cancel my booking?

    • On Cancellation of your booking, goCash would be reversed from goCash balance. In case of insufficient gocash balance in the user’s wallet, it would be subtracted from the refund amount.
    • For Example: If on a Hotel booking of ₹5340, goCash worth ₹123 was added to your wallet. At the time of cancellation, gocash worth 123 will be deducted from wallet, however, if wallet balance is already less than 123, then, the differential amount will be adjusted against the refund.
    • What happens to my goCash & eligible booking count if I partially cancel the booking?

    • On partial cancellation of a booking, entire cashback would be reversed from goCash balance. In case, goCash cashback amount exceeds the wallet balance, it would be subtracted from the refund amount.
    • For example: User booked a return Flight between Delhi and Mumbai. The customer flew to Mumbai but cancelled his flight back to Delhi. In such a case, the entire goCash amount will be reversed while initiating the refund to that user.
    • How will goCash be adjusted if I modify my booking?

    • In case of modification of any bookings, entire cashback would be reversed from goCash balance. In case, goCash cashback amount exceeds the wallet balance, it would be subtracted from the refund amount.
    • Example: A user made a Flight booking from Delhi to Goa for INR 8334 for 20th October 2024 while requested a date change to 25th October 2024. In such a case, the consumer would be required to pay incremental Flight fare and the goCash credited to the user earlier, would be reversed.
    • Will the spends be counted if I cancel the booking?

    • No. The amount you have spent on your booking will be counted only after the successful completion of your travel/stay. In case of cancellation, gocash cashback will be reversed while refund processing.
  • Terms & Conditions

    • This program is applicable for Goibibo’s website, Android and iOS mobile Apps only. 
    • In any dispute, the parties agree to exclusive jurisdiction of New Delhi courts. 
    • Goibibo reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and liability and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace or discontinue, wholly or in part, this program by another program, whether similar to this program or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether. 
    • Goibibo shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising due to force majeure event. 
    • Goibibo is the final authority on the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions. 
    • Travel agents/offline agents are barred from participating in the goTribe program. 
    • Goibibo shall not be liable to, for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the program. In no event the liability of Goibibo for any claims under the goTribe program shall exceed the value of goCash utilised for making a booking by obtaining a reward or converting to goCash by the goTribe member. 
    • User Agreement, Privacy Policy and goCash terms and conditions on the Goibibo website shall be applicable. 
    • By participating in the goTribe program, the user gives Goibibo permission to use the goTribe member’s name, image and any other details or information available on the goTribe member’s social media profiles, in any manner, to promote goTribe or Goibibo’s brand name or services. 
    • By participating in the goTribe program, the goTribe member releases and holds harmless Goibibo, and any of its employees from all liability, loss, injury or damage to property or person, including death, and reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, even if caused or contributed to by Goibibo’s negligence. 
    • Failure by Goibibo to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 
    • The goTribe membership can be cancelled by Goibibo with a 10 days’ notice peri
