The website www.goibibo.com (the "Site") is published and maintained by Ibibo Group Private Limited ("Company"), a company incorporated and existing in accordance with the laws of India When you access, browse or use this Site, you accept, without limitation or qualification, the terms and conditions set forth herein. When you access any of the sub-Site (whether belonging to an 'associate' of Company or otherwise) through this Site, then such sub-Site may have its own terms and conditions, which are specific to such sub-Site.
These Terms and Conditions of use and any additional terms posted on this Site together constitute the entire agreement between Company and you with respect to your use of this Site.
SITE AND ITS CONTENTS
  • This Site is only for your personal use. You shall not distribute exchange, modify, sell or transmit anything you copy from this Site, including but not limited to any text, images, audio and video, for any business, commercial or public purpose

The various discounts and offers mentioned on the Site are applicable to the Consumer for the purposes of end use only
  • You are requested to report to content.disputes@goibibo.com in the event you find any content on the Website which you deem is unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, suggestive, harassing, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent or otherwise objectionable, against any religious beliefs, spam, potentially infringing or is not authorized by the intellectual property rights owner or is violative of any applicable law. On receiving such report, the Company reserves the right to investigate and/or take such action as the Company may deem appropriate.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

Any changes to these Terms and Conditions of Use or any terms posted on this Site apply as soon as they are posted. By continuing to use this Site after any changes are posted, you are indicating your acceptance of those changes.
  • Company may add, change, discontinue, remove or suspend any other Content posted on this Site, including features and specifications of products described or depicted on the Site, temporarily or permanently, at any time, without notice and without liability.
  • Company reserves the right to undertake all necessary steps to ensure that the security, safety and integrity of Company's systems as well as its clients and users interests are and remain, well-protected. Towards this end, Company may take various steps to verify and confirm the authenticity, enforceability and validity of orders placed by you.
  • If Company, in its sole and exclusive discretion, concludes that the said orders are not or do not reasonably appear to be, authentic, enforceable or valid, then Company may cancel the said orders at any time up to 06 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the relevant flight or 24 hours before the expected date of visit to any property booked through Company.
  • You may travel to certain destinations which involve greater risks than others, entirely at your risk as to cost and consequences.
  • Company requests you to consult your local authorities and evaluate travel prohibitions,warnings, announcements, and advisories issued by them before booking travel to certain international destinations.
  • By offering for sale travel to particular destinations, Company does not represent or warrant that travel to such point is advisable or without risk. Company does not accept liability for damages, losses, or delays that may result from improper documents for entry, exit, length of stay, or from travel to such destinations.
  • Company reserves its exclusive right in its sole discretion to alter, limit or discontinue the Site or any material posted herein, in any respect. Company shall have no obligation to take the needs of any User into consideration in connection therewith.
  • Company reserves its right to deny in its sole discretion any user access to this Site or any portion hereof without notice.
  • No waiver by Company of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be binding except as set forth in writing and signed by its duly authorized representative.
PROMOTION CODES
  • Company.com generates promotion codes from time to time which may be availed on the Site as a discount coupon. Users are advised that the promotional offer of using Promotion Codes for receiving discounts can be availed only if correct and full details (of the promotional code) are filled in at the time of making the booking. In case if the customer fails to enter the promocode before making the booking, the company shall not be liable to give any credit to the customer after the booking has been made.
  • Considering there are multiple promotional offers running on the site, user can avail the benefit of only one offer at a time. No two promotional codes can be combined at the time of making a booking.
  • Promotional discounts are applied only on the base amount for Hotels. Discounts are not applicable for any additional components including taxes.
  • On cancellation of bookings done using promotional codes, the hotel cancellation charges are calculated on total price before discount. For such bookings, an additional goibibo cancellation charge of 12% or Rs.500, whichever is minimum will be deducted from the refund amount after applying the hotel cancellation policy. For goStay bookings, goibibo cancellation charge of 50% will be deducted.
UNUTILISED TRAVEL BOOKINGS
  • The User shall request Goibibo for any refunds against the unutilized or 'no show' air or hotel booking for any reasons within 90 days from the date of departure for the air ticket and/or the date of check in for the hotel booking. Any applicable refunds would accordingly be processed as per the defined policies of Airlines, hotels and Goibibo as the case may be. No refund would be payable for any requests made after the expiry of 90 days as above and all unclaimed amounts for such unutilized or no show air or hotel booking shall be deemed to have been forfeited.
DISPUTES
  • If any dispute arises between you and Company during your use of the Site or thereafter, in connection with and arising from your use or attempt to use this Site, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration. Both parties shall agree to a sole arbitrator. The place of arbitration shall be Delhi. The arbitration proceedings shall be in the English language.
  • The said arbitration proceedings shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and modifications thereof as in force at the relevant time.
  • These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India and any dispute shall exclusively be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate Courts situated at Delhi, India.

HOLIDAYS BOOKING TERMS

APART FROM THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS THE BELOW MENTIONED ARE THE SPECIFIC HOLIDAY BOOKING TERMS.
  • You acknowledge that pictures of the holiday packages as shown on the Site are indicative and may not be representative of the actual products.
  • The rates /prices of the holiday packages shown of the Site are quotation only and no blocking has been made. Prices/Taxes are subject to changes and availability.
  • You are requested to confirm acceptance of the holiday packages customized for you by return email for a valid booking to be made.
  • Booking of holiday packages is subject to availability and confirmation of the holiday package supplier. Special rates shall apply for peak seasons and the inclusions of such holiday packages may vary without any notice.
  • In case we are not able to provide the Hotel Packages as shown on the Site, we reserve the right to give the substitute Hotel Package of the same standard.
  • You agree that the terms of the holiday packages may be subject to change at short notices due to circumstances beyond our or the suppliers control included but not limited to force majeure events etc.
  • In such cases we act only as an intermediary agent with only the role of a mediator. Even if you make a booking through us, the contract will be between the supplier and you and the general travel and contractual terms and conditions of the supplier shall apply. We are not a party to the contractual relationship.
  • By making a booking through our Site you make an offer to purchase the service or holiday package from the supplier. We are authorized by each supplier to accept your offer on its behalf; this acceptance occurs when we send you a written confirmation of the booking and payment as per payment policy is received.
  • Before placing an order you are advised to check the description of the Holiday Package carefully. By making a booking for a Holiday Package you agree to be bound by the conditions of booking included in the Holiday Package's description.
  • Once we accept your booking on behalf of our suppliers, a legally binding contract is formed between you and the supplier of the service or holiday package chosen by you.
  • The supplier's general travel and contractual terms and conditions are made available by us to you by means of a link or full text before the booking takes place and they will apply in addition to those set out here. The supplier's terms and conditions may include provisions relating to payment procedures, default, liability, cancellations, changes of bookings and refunds (if available) and any other restrictions.
  • Where there is a conflict between any information on our Site and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions will apply in priority. Where there is a conflict between these terms and conditions and the supplier terms and conditions, the supplier's one will apply in priority.
  • We act as a mediator between you and the supplier and we cannot be held responsible for any non-performance of the contract.
  • We assume no liability for the performance of arranged services and/or holiday packages and we provide no guarantee with regard to their quality or fitness as represented. We do not as well supply any guaranteefor the availability of services and/or holiday packages.
  • The responsibility lies with the supplier as direct organizer of the services purchased by you.
  • We request you to obtain suitable insurances/other protective measures etc. to safeguard yourselves.
  • The suppliers providing their services and holiday packages through us are independent contractors and not our agents or our employees. We are not liable for their acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence or for any personal injuries, death, property damage or other damages or expenses resulting therefrom. We have no liability and we will make no refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or other causes beyond their direct control, and they have no responsibility for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority.
  • We only commit ourselves to a careful choice and control of our suppliers. Incidentally the relevant supplier shall be liable in its own responsibility.
  • Your right to cancel your service or holiday or modify your booking is determined by the applicable terms and conditions of the supplier. In such cases it is your responsibility to inform us in writing of such request specifying your booking reference. The time of receipt by us of the declaration of cancellation shall be decisive for the time of withdrawal and cancellation fees to be applied by the supplier.
  • The laws of India govern the Holiday Packages. All disputes shall be settled within the jurisdiction of Delhi only.

BUS BOOKING TERMS

APART FROM THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS THE BELOW MENTIONED ARE THE SPECIFIC BUS BOOKING TERMS.
Goibibo responsibilities does not include
  • The bus operators bus not departing / reaching on time.
  • The bus operator's employees being rude.
  • The bus operators bus seats etc not being up to the customer's expectation.
  • The bus operator cancelling the trip due to unavoidable reasons.
  • The baggage of the customer getting lost / stolen / damaged.
  • The bus operator changing a customer's seat at the last minute to accommodate a lady / child.
  • The customer waiting at the wrong boarding point (please call the bus operator to find out the exact, boarding point if you are not a regular traveller on that particular bus).
  • The bus operator changing the boarding point and/or using a pick-up vehicle at the boarding point to take customers to the bus departure point.
Passengers are required to furnish the following at the time of boarding the bus:
  • A copy of the ticket (A print out of the ticket or the print out of the ticket e-mail).
  • Identity proof (Driving license, Student ID card, Company ID card, Passport, PAN card or Voter ID card). Failing to do so, they may not be allowed to board the bus.
  • All tickets issued shall be non-transferable.
  • Passengers are required to reach the boarding place before 30 min of scheduled departure time.
Change in Bus Type:
  • In case the bus operator changes the type of bus due to some reason or any other discrepancy, we will refund the differential amount to the customer only upon being intimated by the bus operator.
Ticket Cancellation:
Cancellation of tickets can be done either by logging on the Company account (online) or by calling on the customer care number toll free number (offline). To cancel the tickets online, Users shall have to complete the following procedure :
  • Log onto www.goibibo.com.
  • Click on 24*7 customer support link and select 'Buses'
  • Click "Cancel your Booking" and enter you GOBUS id available in you M-ticket and E-ticket
  • Click on Cancel after checking your itinerary.
  • You need to enter Verification Code sent on your mobile to cancel you booking.
To cancel the tickets offline, call the customer care numbers 09213025552 / 1-860-2-585858.
Please Note: Cancellation charges levied by Bus operator will be applicable at the time of cancellation. Goibibo does not levy any cancellation charges on its own.
  • Cancellation charges are available on your ticket sent on your email ID.
Partial cancellation of Bus ticket is not available.
Reschedule of Bus ticket is not available.
Refunds on ticket cancelled will be directly transferred to the respective account from which payment was made at the time of booking.

GOCAR TERMS & CONDITIONS

GoCars is a platform enabling an alternative inter-city road commute option to Customers offered by the Company and available only on the mobile application of the Site ("GoCars").
1. General Conditions to use GoCars:
    1.1. 1.1. GoCars enables Customers to book (a) seat(s) in Vehicle of other Customers or (b) entire Vehicle of cab/taxi operators (such Vehicle offering Customer or cab/taxi operators hereinafter referred to as "Car Offeror", as the context may so require).

    1.2. GoCars may be used by Customer for inter-city travel on (a) exclusive basis by booking the entire Vehicle of cab/taxi operators or (b) shared basis, along with other co-travelers and/or Customers, as the case may be ("Co-Traveler"), by booking seat(s) in Vehicle of other Customers . Customer using GoCars for the purpose described in paragraph 1.2(a) shall be referred to as "Exclusive Car Traveler" and described in paragraph 1.2(b) shall be referred to as "Shared Car Traveler".

    1.3. For the purpose of these GoCars booking terms, the term "Vehicle" means a car which a Car Offeror is legally authorized to operate and for which the Car Offeror has all the requisite licenses, approvals, insurance and permits from appropriate authorities, valid and subsisting through the inter-city journey consummated or proposed to be consummated using GoCars ("Trip").

    1.4. Each Exclusive Car Traveler and Shared Car Traveler booking a Trip shall deposit the amount agreed between such Customer and the Car Offeror for such Trip ("Cost Contribution") to Company in advance.

    1.5. It is mandatory for all Customers booking a Trip to carry a valid photo-id proof during the Trip. In case Customer identity does not match with the details provided by such Customer at the time of booking the Trip, Car Offeror may, at its discretion, deny boarding of Vehicle to such Customer.

    1.6. On the completion of a Trip, Company recommends that Customer provides a rating for Car Offeror and Co-Traveler, as the case may be.

    1.7. While the Company currently provides GoCars without any charge, it reserves the right to charge convenience fee or other such charges for services rendered to Customers through the GoCars.

2. Use of Services:
    2.1 Subject to provisions of the paragraphs 2.2 and 2.3, if a Customer cancels the Trip then Customer shall not be entitled for any refund.

    2.2 Customer shall be entitled to partial refund if the cancellation is requested by Customer on GoCars before the agreed commencement schedule of the Trip (irrespective of the pick-up time) in the following manner:-

    Cancellation policy specific to Shared Car Travelers:-

    Time slab % of Deduction of Cost Contribution
    Within 120 minutes of the Trip commencement time (irrespective of Co-Traveler's pick-up time) 60%
    Before 120 minutes of the Trip commencement time (irrespective of Co-Traveler's pick-up time) 30%
    E.g. If a Trip is scheduled from source "A" to destination "E", irrespective of the pick-up time of Co-Travelers from boarding points B, C & D, the aforementioned cancellation policy would apply from the Trip commencement time from Source "A".

    Cancellation policy specific to Exclusive Car Traveler:-

    Time before departure Cancellation charges (of the booking amount)
    12 hours & before the Trip commencement time. 0%
    Within 12 hours of the Trip commencement time.* 50%
    If Customer sees the Car Offeror and Vehicle details in the 'My Booking' section at the time of cancellation then the cancellation charges will apply per the schedule above. If Customer doesn't see the Car Offeror and Vehicle details in 'My Booking' section then there shall not be any cancellation charges levied on Customer for canceling the Trip.

    2.3 Car Offeror is obligated to commence the Trip and/or receive the Customer from the respective boarding point within a period either equivalent to 10% of the total estimated journey time or forty five (45) minutes, whichever is less, of the scheduled pick up time. On the failure of Car Offeror to honor the above stated timelines, Customer may cancel the Trip and request full refund of its Cost Contribution; provided, such refund request has been made to GoCars Customer Care team at 092130 25552, within four (4) hours of the scheduled pick up time of such Customer. If Customer fails to request refund within four (4) hours of the scheduled pick up time, Trip shall be deemed completed and result in forfeiture of the Cost Contribution without any refund rights to Customer.

    2.4 Cost Contribution shall be inclusive of toll, interstate taxes, passenger taxes or any other applicable levies, however, parking charges incurred at Customer's pick up point shall be borne by Customer.

    2.5 Company shall have no obligation to manage or schedule any Trip and it shall not, at any time, have any right, title or interest in any Vehicle on offer vide GoCars. Customer using GoCars unconditionally acknowledges that it shall have no right to initiate any claim against Company for any issue related to the Trip including but not limited to, cancellation of Trip before or during the Trip, last minute changes, any act or omission of Car Offeror or Co-Travelers and/or any unsatisfactory, delayed or failure of performance by the Car Offeror.

    2.6 Once a Trip is booked by Customer, changes in departure time, boarding or dropping points are not permitted.

    2.7 Exclusive Car Travelers are required to take note and abide by the total count of travelers that are allowed to board the Vehicle as listed on the offer/vehicle details page. On the contravention of the said condition Car Offeror may deny boarding to such additional travelers.

    2.8 For Shared Car Travelers, Car Offeror is obligated to wait for a period of ten (10) minutes at the respective boarding point. For Exclusive Car Travelers, Car Offeror is obligated to wait for a period either equivalent to 10% of the total estimated journey time or forty five (45) minutes, whichever is less, at the Trip commencement point. Any failure by Customer to board the Vehicle within the above stated timelines at the boarding point/ Trip commencement point shall result in forfeiture of the Cost Contribution without any refund rights to Customer.
3. Limited use of Services on GoCars:
    3.1 Customer acknowledges that through GoCars, Company is acting as a facilitator between Car Offeror and Customer and Company shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for any claims with respect to the Trip including without limitation, claims pertaining to timeliness, safety, continuity, uninterrupted travel, quality, conditions of Vehicle or driving skill.

    3.2 Customer undertakes that it shall not use GoCars in any manner, which could damage, disable, impair or interfere with other Customers' right to use and/or enjoyment of GoCars or cause any damage to or hamper the business or reputation of the Company. Customer shall refrain itself from obtaining or attempting to obtain any information through any means which is not intentionally made available or provided to it for or through GoCars.

    3.3 Customer agrees and acknowledges that Company gives no warranty or assurance in regard to insurance and pollution control certificate obtained or to be obtained by the Car Offeror. It shall be the responsibility of Customer to verify that insurance procured by the Car Offeror for Vehicle provides adequate cover to third party.

4. Obligations of Customer:
    4.1 Customer hereby covenants that:
    1. the Trip is undertaken in its personal capacity in accordance with its need and GoCars shall not be used for profit making in any commercial context;
    2. it shall not use GoCars for any purpose which is unlawful or illegal under the applicable laws;
    3. it shall arrive on time at the appointed pick up point as mutually agreed with Car Offeror;
    4. it shall maintain and ensure good and humble conduct with Car Offeror and/or Co-Travelers during the Trip and on failure to do so, Car Offeror may require such Customer to disembark the Vehicle without any refund rights to such Customer;
    5. it shall not ask Car Offeror to violate any traffic/city police and/or government rules or other applicable laws for any reason whatsoever;
    6. it shall not coerce Car Offeror to overload the boot space of the Vehicle with its luggage;
    7. it shall, prior to commencement of Trip, check and agree with Car Offeror on dimension/weight of the luggage that can be accommodated in the boot space of the Vehicle. On the contravention of the said arrangement between Car Offeror and Customer by Customer, Car Offeror may deny boarding to Customer.
5. Usage of GoCars
    5.1 Company strives continuously to make its Customers' everyday travel hassle free, therefore, certain measures are taken by Company to keep its Customer community clean and away from any malpractices. Company has found some Customers trying to abuse the system in the past by indulging into fraudulent activities and misuse the various promotional activities run by Company. This hampers the genuine Customers in a big way which is strictly against Company's policies. Any violation by Customer may result in termination of Customer's account from the Site for a definite period or permanently or any other action that Company deems appropriate. Customers are advised to refrain from:
      1. Creating multiple user accounts with same email address to abuse promotional discounts offered by Company, using fake email addresses, using mobile number associated with one account on multiple devices; and
      2. Indulging in fraudulent transactions to earn promotional amount within the friends/family/closed group, without actually travelling, and defeating the purpose of introducing the referral codes.
    5.2 Company reserves the right to validate any Trip completed by a Customer using GoCars. In case any Trip completed by Customer is found to be fraudulent in nature, Customer may be liable to a penalty in their next Trip. Decision of Company on nature/amount of penalty in this regard shall be final and binding on Customer.

CAR RENTAL TERMS

General Terms and Conditions
  • Distance and time is calculated from garage back to garage for both within city and outside city trips. In case of a pickup from City A and drop to city B, the distance from the drop off point in city B to garage in City A will be calculated and the payment for the same has to be made by the customer.
  • Distance and time are calculated from the operator's garage and not from the customer's residence. Customers are requested to check the starting time and the starting odometer recorded on the trip sheet available with the driver prior to the journey. Disputes regarding the same will not be acceptable after completion of journey.
  • Expenses like toll charges permit charges, parking charges, entry & toll fees are to be borne by hirer.
  • Service Tax & any other Government Tax as per Government guidelines will be charged on the total bill.
  • The estimate provided at the time of booking is not to be construed as a package pricing for your trip unless specifically indicated. The final amount for your trip will be calculated based on actual usage (number of Kilometers and hours).
  • For Local Duties, driver BA/TA is applicable after 10.00 pm (or after 12 hours of service). In Hyderabad, local BA/TA is applicable between 9.00 pm and 7.00 am.
  • Extra time up to 30 minutes will be treated half an hour, 31 minutes onwards as full hour and will attract tariff applicable to next higher slab/extra hour.
Other Applicable Terms and Conditions
I, do hereby confirm that I have read, understood and acknowledged the following terms and conditions:
  1. Customer understands and agrees that goibibo.com is ONLY an online marketplace and it does not operate taxi services on its own. In order to provide a comprehensive choice of taxi services, vehicle types and prices to customers, it has tied up with many taxi Operators ("Operators").
  2. Customer understands and agrees to avail taxi service of the Operator where such arrangement for taxi hire is with the Operator and goibibo.com is not liable to you for the provision of these services.
  3. Customer understands and agrees that goibibo.com responsibilities doesn't include:
    • The taxi not departing/reaching on time;
    • The taxi driver being rude;
    • The taxi seats etc. not being up to customer's expectations;
    • The Operator cancelling the trip due to unavoidable reasons;
    • The baggage of the customer getting lost/stolen/damaged;
    • The Operator changing a customer's seat at the last minute to accommodate a lady/child;
    • The customer waiting at the wrong boarding point (please call the Operator to find out the exact, boarding point if you are not a regular traveler on that particular taxi) etc.
    • The customer has been dropped to nearest location in order of preference and not at a particular place which is not on the route.
  4. Customer shall be present 15 minutes in advance at the boarding point to avoid delays during the journey.
  5. Customer shall carry a copy of confirmed ticket with personal identification certificate such as Pan Card, Driving License etc. for verification, failing to do so, customer may not be allowed to board the taxi.
  6. Customer shall ensure appropriate behavior and avoid any nuisance, quarrel, manhandling with fellow customers or driver of the taxi during the journey. In case of such behavior, the taxi driver shall have complete authority to forbid you to carry out the journey. No loss or claim resulting out of such incident shall be payable in any manner to customer.
  7. Customer shall not be allowed to travel in the taxi if he is found intoxicated or under influence of any drug or similar substances.
  8. Customer shall stop and take breaks at specified places only and customer shall not be allowed to take additional breaks except in case of emergency.
  9. Customer shall be responsible and liable for their own safety and security of luggage. In no condition, goibibo.com will indemnify any loss to customer or their luggage in any event.
  10. Customer shall not smoke; chew tobacco or such other substances during the journey.
  11. Customer shall comply with "Cancellation Policy" of the Operator for the purpose of this transaction. In case of cancellation, Customer shall be refunded the balance amount from the ticket fare after appropriate deductions as per above mentioned Cancellation Policy. Customer confirms that he has read, understood and acknowledged this Cancellation Policy as provided with the confirmed ticket at customer's registered email id.
  12. In case of break down or accident of taxi where Operator has been unable to make alternative arrangement, goibibo.com shall provide proportionate refund to Customer for uncovered distance. Any claims, liabilities or legal costs arising out of such event shall be borne by the Operator.
  13. In the event of any dissatisfaction with any of the services provided by Operator or goibibo.com, the matter must be reported directly to Operator or goibibo.com, within 24 hours in order that action may be taken to remedy the problem. If notice is not given to Operator or goibibo.com within 24 hours, after discovery of the dissatisfaction, Operator or goibibo.com cannot and will not accept responsibility.
  14. Customer agree that goibibo.com does not warrant or make any representations regarding the use of or the result of the use of the taxi services given on its site in terms of their correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise, insofar as such material is derived from the Operator.
  15. goibibo.com will not be liable to Customer or to any other person for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind whatsoever and howsoever caused from out of the information derived by customer through usage of site. In no event shall goibibo.com be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of information provided on the site in so far as such information is derived from the Operator.
  16. To the extent permitted by law, neither goibibo.com nor any of our officers, directors, employees, representatives, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, distributors, affiliate (distribution) partners, licensees, agents or others involved in creating, sponsoring, promoting, or otherwise making available the site and its contents shall be liable for (i) any punitive, special, indirect or consequential loss or damages, any loss of production, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of contract, loss of or damage to goodwill or reputation, loss of claim, (ii) any inaccuracy relating to the (descriptive) information (including rates, availability and ratings)of Operator as made available on our site, (iii) the services rendered or the products offered by the Operator, (iv) any (direct, indirect, consequential or punitive) damages, losses or costs suffered, incurred or paid by you, pursuant to, arising out of or in connection with the use, inability to use or delay of our site, or (v) for any (personal) injury, death, property damage, or other (direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive) damages, losses or costs suffered, incurred or paid by you, whether due to (legal) acts, errors, breaches, (gross) negligence, willful misconduct, omissions, non-performance, misrepresentations, tort or strict liability by or (wholly or partly) attributable to the Operator (its employees, directors, officers, agents, representatives or affiliated companies), including any (partial) cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or any other event beyond our control.

Outstation Travel Terms
  • For Out Station duties, a min of 250 Kilometers is chargeable in Bangalore. 300 Kilometers in Hyderabad. Min of 225 Kilometers or 250 Kilometers in Chennai. For all other cities, a min of 300 Kilometers is chargeable per day for outstation travel.
  • A calendar day begins at 6.00 A.M and ends at 12.00 Midnight. In case a drop off happens after 12 midnight, an additional days charges (of 225 Kilometers, 250 Kilometers or 300 Kilometers) are applicable unless specifically stated in the package rates quoted.
  • Driver BA/TA will be twice the normal daily BA/TA between 10 pm and 6 am. (If the driver of the vehicle being hired drives the car beyond 10 pm on any night or before 6 am on any day, then twice the applicable daily BA/TA will apply).
  • No receipts will be provided for state entry taxes by the operator.
Goibibo Terms & conditions and responsibilities
  • Goibibo is ONLY an online car rental booking agent. It does not operate any car rental services of its own. In order to provide a comprehensive choice of car rental operators, vehicle types and prices to customers, it has tied up with many car rental operators.
  • Your contract for car hire is with the car rental operator and we are not liable to you for the provision of these services, however we will try to ensure that you have a car rental service at your disposal in our capacity as agent for the car rental operators.
  • Booking a car rental (that will be serviced by the car rental operator) from its' network of car rental operators
  • Providing refund and support in the event of cancellation.
  • Car rental tariffs are subject to change without prior notice.
  • In case cancellations is made less than 12 hours to departure time, booking is non cancellable. On cancellation entire amount will be forfeited.
  • INR 100 would apply as cancellation charges if booking is cancelled before 12 hrs to departure time and Rs 50 will be charged as a ibibo service fees.

HOTEL TERMS

APART FROM THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS, THE BELOW MENTIONED ARE THE SPECIFIC HOTEL TERMS.
  • Goibibo act only as an intermediary agent with only the role of a mediator. Even if you make a booking through us, the contract will be between the supplier and you and the general travel and contractual terms and conditions of the supplier shall apply. We are not a party to the contractual relationship.
  • Hotels may not allow local residents to check-in as guests . This is strictly subject to the Hotel Policies and goibibo will not be responsible for such check-in denials.
  • Hotels reserves the right of admission. Unmarried/unrelated couples may not be allowed to check-in. Similarly accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a Couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goibibo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason. No refund would be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances.
  • Hotel may deny check in to guests providing Id Proof of the same city as the hotel itself.
  • The hotel pictures/information on the website, including amenities and facilities are provided by the hotel. This information is for reference only. For any discrepancy that exists between the website pictures and actual settings, Goibibo is not liable and responsible.
  • It is mandatory for you to send the auto generated form filling your correct credit card details immediately to the hotel in order for the booking to be confirmed by the hotel/accommodation.
  • The booking is not confirmed until the filled auto generated form is sent to the hotel.
  • The credit card details should be sent only via the auto generated form and in no other format.
  • Prior to the filling of the auto generated form being sent to the hotel by you, your booking is only provisional and hotel has no obligation to reserve a room for you.
  • The hotel shall confirm your booking post authorising and verifying the credit card details.
  • The hotel may deny your booking if it is not able to authenticate and verify the credit card details as per its terms and conditions.
  • The Company does not store your credit card in details database as they are sent by you directly to the hotel and stored by the hotel.
  • The hotel might block your credit card for the amount of the booking as per the hotel's terms and conditions and the Company shall not be responsible for the same.
  • The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into the hotel.
  • Check-in time and check-out time is as per hotel policy & terms. Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel might charge you extra for it. Please note that the check-in time is subject to change as per hotel policy & seasonality.
  • Your stay does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips. The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  • It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person above the age of 18 staying at the hotel. The identification proofs accepted are Drivers License, Voters Card, and Passport. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in. Note- PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  • The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a 'couple' if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Company will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  • Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas/ New Year's Eve or other festivals as decided by the hotel. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  • Government has levied service tax on hotel room charges effective on stays from 1st May 2011. This tax may be required to be settled directly at the hotel.
  • Time Zone applicable for content displayed on the website shall be Indian Standard Time for all purposes unless explicitly mentioned otherwise.

  • All taxes, duties, levies or other statutory dues and charges payable in connection with the benefits accruing under the Cashback shall be borne solely by the Customer and Goibibo shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any such taxes, duties, levies or other statutory dues and charges.
  • Customers are requested to be accustomed, satisfy and agree to with these terms and conditions of the Cashback before participating in or making any purchase in relation to this Cashback. Participation in the Cashback is discretion of Customer.
  • Customers are not being charged extra for participating in the Cashback.
  • Liability of Goibibo shall be limited to the extent of the cash back to which Customer is entitled as per terms and conditions.
  • Decision of Goibibo in respect of Cashback, benefits or any matters related thereto shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entertained in this behalf.
  • All disputes are subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi only.
  • By participating in this Scheme, Customers agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these terms & conditions. Goibibo does not provide any warranties with regard to the quality or fitness for any purpose of the hotels available under the Cashback. Customers agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Goibibo, and its directors, officers, employees and agents, from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, use, or loss of any Cashback related benefit/hotel booking, or participation in any Cashback-related activity or participation herein.

  • The Cancellation Policies of the Hotels are dynamic and may change from time to time. The Cancellation policy of the Hotel may change in the interim period of booking and date of stay of the Guest. The Cancellation Policy prevailing at the time of check in/cancellation of the booking by the Customer will be the applicable policy.
  • Hotels being booked may have their own cancellation policy and may charge user accordingly.
  • In the event of Cancellation the money shall be debited from your credit card directly by the Hotel as per Cancellation Policy of the Hotel.
  • On cancellation of bookings done using promotional codes, the hotel cancellation charges are calculated on total price before discount. For such bookings, an additional goibibo cancellation charge of 12% or Rs.500, whichever is minimum will be deducted from the refund amount after applying the hotel cancellation policy. For goStay bookings, goibibo cancellation charge of 50% will be deducted.
  • Cancellations can be done online as well through our call-centre.
  • Only those cancellation requests which are made either online or on the phone to our customer support team shall be entertained. The Company shall not be liable to entertain any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel without intimating the Company and also through any other medium including, but not limited to, SMS or e-mail.
  • If you don't show up at the hotel, you'll still be charged the entire amount and hotel will debit the amount from your card directly.
Modifications & Refunds:
  • The company do not accept amendment request to the hotel reservation if the check in is within 48 Hours.
  • The Company doesn't support changes and modifications to online bookings once they're made.
  • All the refunds shall be done by the Hotel directly to you and the Company is not responsible to ensuring any refunds whatsoever.
  • Your bank may debit its own separate charges from refunds made to your credit card or bank account.

    TRAIN TERMS & CONDITIONS

    • You acknowledge Company acts as a marketplace facilitating booking of railways tickets and therefore, neither influences nor controls the scheduling/re-scheduling, cancellations or other changes to the delivery timelines or other related aspects of the railway tickets on offer. Company, not being last-mile service provider, shall not be deemed responsible/liable for any delay, inaccuracy, schedule change, update, cancellation, lack or deficiency of services provided by the railways.
    • Meal and berth preferences are available however final confirmation is upto railway's for the assignment.

    • Photo Id proofs accepted by Railways are as follows, passengers not carrying a valid Id's may get denied boarding the train or may be asked to de-board at any station by concerned railway authorities :-

      • Voter photo identity card
      • Driving License issued by RTO
      • Pan Card
      • Photo Identity card having serial number issued by Central / State Government
      • Student Identity Card with photograph issued by recognized School/College for their students
      • Aadhaar card
      • Photo identity cards having serial number issued by public sector Undertakings of State/Central Government, District Administrations, Municipal bodies and Panchayat Administrations
      • For Non-Indians, their Country's Passport will constitute sole authorized ID
      • Ration card will be accepted as proof of identity for undertaking journey under Tatkal scheme only if the passenger whose photograph is available on the ration card is travelling
    • Seat/berth allotment is done by Railways based on their allocation logic after booking confirmation, Company does not guarantee allotment of preferred seat/berth

    • Train functionality on Site will not be functional between 2345 hours to 0030 hours due to system downtime at Railways' end also passengers will not be able to book non tatkal tickets between 8 am to 8.30 am for general classes, from 10 am to 10.30 am for Tatkal AC classes, and from 11 am to 11.30 am for Tatkal non-AC classes
    • Passengers are required to remember their IRCTC user name and password in order to book trains on GoIbibo app, if a passenger doesn't remember their IRCTC password after payment is made, refund will be initiated automatically
    • Travelers must carry their e ticket at the boarding, failing which Railways authorities may charge applicable fees for issuing a copy of ticket

    • Change in boarding point and name of passenger are not supported by the Site and customers are required to take the print out of the issued eticket to nearest railway reservation counter along with the photo identity proof mentioned in the e-ticket.     • GoIbibo handling charges are non refundable Bookings can only be cancelled through the app, offline cancellations are not permitted
    • Passengers with a confirmed e-ticket are permitted to board the train. Their names will appear on the boarding chart. Final booking status such as confirmed/RAC with the names of passengers will appear on the boarding chart. Waitlisted bookings/PNR's will not be listed on the boarding chart, existing railways rules will apply if fully waitlisted travelers are found traveling
    • The bookings made on Goibibo.com the Site are subject to cancellation charges levied by the Indian Railways. It may vary depending on the cancellation time and booking quota(tatkal/general/ladies/premium)
    • Railways automatically cancels the fully waitlisted e-tickets after chart preparation. The refund in such cases gets automatically credited to your bank account used for booking such tickets after deduction of Goibibo handling charges
