FlyDubai booked 50 Boeing 737-800 NG aircrafts at the Farnborough Air Show in June 2008, only weeks after it was set up in March. FlyDubai was established with the mission to make travel safe, comfortable and affordable. The Government of Dubai took the initiative to set up the first low cost airlines of the city in March 2008.
