About SpiceJet
SpiceJet Operation
Spice Jet was earlier known as ModiLuft started in February 1993 and was one of the first private airlines to start after the deregulation of the Indian Aviation Industry. With international partner Lufthansa, this project took off with the first flight on 1993 5th May. Thereafter, with new promoters, SpiceJet was born which not only brought in the Modern Boeing planes but also a record ticket pricing strategy of Rs99 for 99 days. This special fare created an Asian record since it garnered 37,000 flights booking in one day. With well experienced staff, high level of customer service as well as low cost flight tickets, SpiceJet is one of the prominent domestic airlines in India with an aim to make Flying available to everyone.
