What is Best Price Guarantee and when is it applicable?
- Post making a flights transaction (valid for domestic flight bookings only), if the customer finds a cheaper price on another website/app of an Online travel agency (Makemytrip.com, EaseMyTrip, Ixigo & Cleartrip), Goibibo will refund twice the price difference subject to a maximum of INR. 10,000/-
- Best price guarantee is valid only on comparison of prices which are paid using same payment mode, has the same cancellation policy, same departure date, same number of adults and children, same seat category and same inclusions
- Best price guarantee is valid on all-inclusive (coupon and wallet applied) price paid by the user on Goibibo platform.
- Best price guarantee claim credit (if valid) will be done to wallet with an expiry of 90 days post the actual utilization i.e. Post travelling on the scheduled flight transaction. This amount shall be non-withdrawable and can be used for further bookings made on GoIbibo only.
- Best price guarantee applicable on select list of flights only – the flight should have the Daily Steal Deals Tag in order for the claim to be submitted for the flight.
- Best price guarantee is not applicable for cancelled transactions. How do I make a claim under Best Price Guarantee?
- You need to send in your claims to bpgquery@goibibo.com.
- You should provide the Screenshots of website or app, booking/ Invoice PDF which contains flight seat category, inclusion, taxes and final amount from any other online travel agency where the cheaper price is found as compared to Goibibo price for the same flight and seat type. This is because Best price guarantee is valid only on comparison of prices which are paid using same payment mode, has the same cancellation policy, same departure date, same number of adults and children, same seat category and same inclusions
- Once the details are received we will validate the same and get back to you within 72 Hours.
- You can add multiple screenshots but this must include the final payable price
- You need to make the claim within 24 hours of making the flight transaction
- Claim amount will be given only if the Goibibo booking was not cancelled by the customer (booking status will be checked post the flying date)
- What happens post my claim is submitted?
- Upon receipt of claim, Goibibo will verify the details, authenticity of the claim and reply back to you confirming whether the claim has been approved or rejected within 72 hours of receiving the claim.
- Our customer care team may get in touch with you if we require some information, document/proof and/or clarity in respect of the claim. You authorize Goibibo (India) Private Limited to contact you via any means of communication for the same.
- If all required information needed is available, then an acknowledgement with respect to the fulfilment of the claim will be made within 72 hours of the claim.
- All successful claims will be fulfilled post the travel date and the GoCash will be credited within 72 hours of travel date (the booking shall not be cancelled). Other Terms
- Goibibo will be entitled to reject any claim in case there is any abuse/misuse of the guarantee by the customer or the claim is not eligible under the offer.

- Goibibo is the final authority on the interpretation of these rules.
- In no event, shall the entire liability of Goibibo shall not exceed the lower of the two (a) twice the difference of flight price between Goibibo and the above mentioned online travel agent website/app, and (b) INR 10,000.
- Goibibo shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental loss, damage or injury suffered by any customer while availing the guarantee.
- Travel agents are barred from receiving any benefit under this guarantee.
- Goibibo shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to any force majeure events or reasons beyond the reasonable control of Goibibo.
- Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals in New Delhi only
