Lowest Exchange Rate Guarantee – Terms and Conditions

Introduction
- The offer is an optional offer conceptualized and hosted by GoIbibo (India) Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “IBIBO”) for all the eligible users.
- This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Rules thereunder (as applicable). This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
- The following terms and conditions shall be applicable to all the users participating in the offer known as “Lowest Exchange Rate Guarantee” (hereinafter referred to as the “Offer”) during the Offer Period as described herein.
- Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before participating in the Offer. By participating in the Offer, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions in its entirety (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms and Conditions”). If any user does not agree to any of the Terms and Conditions, such user is advised not to participate in the Offer.
- IBIBO reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, without issuing any notice whatsoever.
- If IBIBO modifies these Terms and Conditions, the latest revised version of the Terms and Conditions shall be effective and binding on the users from the time of its posting on the website of IBIBO platform. The users are therefore advised to check the website regularly for any update(s) or amendment(s) made to these Terms and Conditions and in the event the modified or amended Terms and Conditions are not acceptable to the users, the users should discontinue participating in the Offer. The user’s continued participation in the Offer will constitute the user’s acceptance of the latest revised Terms and Conditions.
- IBIBO is not an authorized money changer and purely for the purposes of this Offer is only capturing the details of the Customers and passing the details to BookMyForex for successful completion of the purchase of forex card or currency (“Forex Product”) from BookMyForex by the Customer. Thus, BookMyForex is responsible for successful completion of the Transaction (defined below) and issuance of the Forex Product thereof in the capacity of acting as an authorized money changer. The Customer agrees and acknowledges that the Customer shall not be claiming from IBIBO in the event of an unsuccessful Transaction. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the term “Transaction” shall mean an action or a series of action initiated/ undertaken by a user and is fulfilled by BookMyForex by delivering the Forex Product to the user.
- For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, wherever the context so requires “you” or “your” or “Customer” shall mean any natural person who being an eligible user has participated in the Offer.
- Further, by participating in this Offer:
  - The Customer warrants the accuracy, truthfulness and currency of all information that may have been submitted by the Customer while participating in the Offer; or
  - The Customer agrees that he or she is participating in this Offer as an independent party and nothing herein establishes an employer-employee relationship between the Customer and IBIBO and the Customer is acting voluntarily, using its own time and resources to participate in the Offer, solely at the Customer’s own risk; and
  - The Customer warrants that prior to participating in the Offer, it shall be deemed that the Customer has read, understood and has agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein.
- IBIBO reserves the right, at any time, to unconditionally disqualify any Customer who tampers with or who in any way abuses the process or Terms and Conditions of the Offer. Failure of IBIBO to enforce any of the provisions of the Terms and Conditions in any instance of the Offer shall not be deemed to be a waiver of the Terms and Conditions and shall not give rise to any claim by any person or Customer. The Customers understand that IBIBO may disqualify, suspend, block or terminate the participation of any Customers at any stages of the Offer where it is found that (i) participation of the Customer is not bona fide; (ii) the Customer has breached these Terms and Conditions. The decision of IBIBO shall at all times be binding and final.
Offer Proposition
- The Lowest Exchange Rate Guarantee is valid for all new orders placed by Customers for the purchase of Forex Products. If, after completing a successful purchase of a Forex Product, you find a lower rate on the website or app of any other authorized money changer, you may submit a claim by following the prescribed procedure. If IBIBO validates and approves the claim, you will be entitled to a refund of twice the differential amount, up to a maximum of INR 3,000 per order.
- Offer: Refund of twice the differential amount upto INR 3000/-.
- Offer Period: The Offer is valid starting from 18th September, 2024 till 30th June, 2025.
Applicability of Lowest Exchange Rate Guarantee Offer
- This Offer is valid for only new Forex Product orders placed.
- If, after placing a new Forex Product order, the Customer finds a lower price on another website/app of an authorised money changer, IBIBO will refund twice the price difference between the booking price of the Forex Product for the Transaction and the rate available on the other authorised money changer website (as per the submitted claim), up to a maximum of INR. 3,000/- per order.
- The Offer is valid only for the same product, currency and amount for the same city or location.
- The Offer applies to the net effective price (i.e., the price paid after adjusting any applicable cashback) paid by the Customer for placing the Forex Product order.
- If the claim is valid, the Lowest Exchange Rate Guarantee credit will be issued to the wallet with a validity of six (6) months from the delivery of the Forex Product or the activation of the Forex Product, as may be applicable.
- Price comparisons are restricted to other online forex websites / apps of the authorised money changer only; offline quotes shall not be considered.
- Price comparisons are limited to the following currencies only: US Dollar, Euro, Thai Baht, UAE Dinar, Pound Sterling, Singapore Dollar, Malaysian Ringgit, Japanese Yen, Australian Dollar and Canadian Dollar.
How do I make a claim under Lowest Exchange Rate Guarantee?
- After purchasing the Forex Product, if you find a lower price for the same product on the website or app of any other authorized money changer, the Customer may raise a claim request via sending an email to ForexClaims@go-Ibibo.com. The claim must be submitted by the Customer using their registered email ID or phone number with IBIBO.
- The email should be sent by the Customer with the subject line: “Lowest Exchange Rate Guarantee Claim: Forex Order “FX……”.
- In the email, the Customer must include the order confirmation email received for placing the Forex Product order, along with screenshots showing the same Forex Transaction at a lower price for the same address/ location/ city, product type, currency, and amount. The screenshots should have a clear timestamp and be taken within a 1-hour range of placing the order.
- The Customer may include multiple screenshots, but they must display the city where the order was placed, the final payable price, the product, currency and amount at product level.
- It is essential for the Customer to raise the claim within and not later than 24 hours of placing your Forex Product.
What happens post my claim is submitted?
- Upon receipt of the claim, IBIBO will verify the details and authenticity of the claim and respond within 7 working days to confirm whether the claim has been approved or rejected.
- IBIBO’s customer care team may contact you if additional information, documentation or clarification is needed regarding the claim. You authorize IBIBO to reach out to you through any means of communication for this purpose.
- Once all required information provided by the Customer, or additional information requested by IBIBO, is received, IBIBO will issue an acknowledgment regarding the fulfilment of the claim within 7 working days.
- All approved claims will be credited within fifteen (15) working days of the delivery of the Forex Product or activation of the Forex Product (as may be applicable) .
- IBIBO, at its reasonable discretion, shall have the right to either approve or reject the claim submitted by the Customer, with or without providing reasons for the rejection.
General Terms and Conditions
- The Offer is only applicable on IBIBO website (www.goibibo.com) and Mobile App (Android and/ or iOS).
- The Offer can be availed only once per Customer during the Offer Period.
- IBIBO will be entitled to reject any claim in case there is any abuse/misuse of the Offer by the Customer or the claim is not eligible under the Offer, at IBIBO’s reasonable discretion.
- If the Customer cancels the order of the Forex Product, the Customer shall not be eligible to receive the benefit under the Offer and the terms of cancellation as provided on the BookMyForex platform shall be applicable.
- The Customer acknowledges that the Forex Product is provided by BookMyForex. Accordingly, BookMyForex reserves the right, at its reasonable discretion, to either refuse the provision of the Forex Product or cancel it if there is any insufficiency or inadequacy in the documents required for compliance.
- IBIBO reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this guarantee by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
- IBIBO shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Offer. Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary herein, IBIBO’s aggregate liability under this Offer shall be limited to the amount paid or payable as per the terms of the Offer. However, this limitation of liability does not exclude or limit IBIBO's liability for direct and foreseeable losses caused by its gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- IBIBO may suspend or terminate these terms and conditions/ Offer at any time for any reason at their discretion.
- In the event of any misuse or abuse of the Offer by the Customer or travel agent, IBIBO reserves the right to deny the Offer or cancel the booking.
- By participating in this Offer, the Customer gives IBIBO permission to use customer’s name, image and any other details or information available on the customer’s social media profiles, in any manner, to promote the Offer or IBIBO brand name or services.
- Travel agents are barred from receiving any benefit under this guarantee.
- IBIBO shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to any force majeure events or reasons beyond the reasonable control of IBIBO.
- Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals in Gurugram only.
- All other terms and conditions as listed in the User Agreement and the Privacy Policy available on IBIBO platform will be applicable to this Offer. The User Agreement and Privacy Policy are available on the IBIBO website (www.goibibo.com). Customers who are Travel Agents by occupation, are barred from making bookings for their customer’s and IBIBO reserves the right to deny the offer against such bookings or to cancel such bookings.
How to avail the Offer?
- Customers has to apply valid coupon code while placing the order and cashback will be paid only if coupon code is applied
- Cashback will processed to the Customers Wallet on GoIbibo (Go Cash)
- GoCash will be credited within 3 days forex order delivery (and activation of forex card – in case of card order) in to the customers wallet
- GoCash will be valid for 6 months from when it has been credited into the users account
What do you get?
- The Customer will get the Offer as cashback on purchase of of new forex card or currency notes on GoIbibo or BookMyForex or through its affiliate websites.
- Cashback amount shall be credited to the customers wallet on GoIbibo.
