• In case of no show, no refund would be applicable.

• The discount will be eligible only after the promotion code has been successfully entered before making the payment.
• The offer is valid for bookings made on Goibibo's website, Mobile site, Android & iOS App.

Terms of the Offer:

• If the customer doesn't receive the discount, he/she must raise the claim at https://support.Goibibo.com/MyAccount/MyIncidents/NewComplaintwithin 3 months from the booking date. In the event the cardholder fails to do so, he/she will not be eligible for the discount amount.
• This offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer of Goibibo
• Goibibo reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and liability and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
• Goibibo shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising due to force majeure event
• In the event of any misuse or abuse of the offer by the customer or travel agent, Goibibo reserves the right to deny the offer or cancel the booking.
• In no event will the entire liability of Goibibo under this offer exceed the amount of promotional discount under this offer
• Goibibo shall not be liable to for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the offer.
• Disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi.
• User Agreement and Privacy Policy of the Goibibo website will apply
• Customers who are travel agents by occupation are barred from making bookings for their customers and Goibibo reserves the right to deny the offer against such bookings or to cancel such bookings. For such cases, Goibibo shall not refund the booking amount.

What do you get?

• While booking a wait-listed train ticket on the Goibibo website/app, you can opt for ‘goConfirmed Trip’.
• The ‘Travel Voucher’ can be used only for one-way trip bookings.
• If your wait-listed ticket is not confirmed at the time of chart preparation, we will refund you 2X the ticket fare.
• The 2X Refund shall be exclusive of Goibibo Service Fee, IRCTC Convenience Fee, Payment Gateway Charges and 2X Refund Premium which the customer pays at the time of making the reservation through Goibibo Platform.

How do you get 2X refund?

• The ticket fare will be refunded by IRCTC, in the original payment mode used at the time of booking a train ticket.
• Remaining 1X amount will be refunded as a ‘Travel Voucher’. This Travel Voucher can be used to book any other mode of transport (flight, bus, train or cab) available on Goibibo platform.

What else do you need to know?

• You will be eligible for the 2X Refund only if your ticket doesn’t get confirmed till the time of chart preparation by IRCTC.
• User will not be eligible for the 2X Refund if the ticket gets ‘Confirmed’ or ‘RAC’ at the time of chart preparation.
• This Offer is valid only on tickets which are in the waitlisted category.
• This Offer is valid on selected trains/class booked through Goibibo platform.
• Premium amount paid for availing the goConfirmed Trip offer may change, from time to time and even before the final payment depending upon the ticket fare or availability of the ticket.
• One can avail a maximum refund of INR 6,000 (Rupees Six Thousand Only).
• 2X Refund is not valid if the ticket gets partially or fully confirmed (or RAC).
• goConfirmed Trip is a paid feature, and an opt-in fees will be charged for availing it.
• In case of bulk booking, if some of the tickets have been confirmed and not all, you shall not be eligible for the 2X Refund for the tickets which have not been confirmed.
• Illustration: A makes a booking of 5 tickets through Goibibo platform for Delhi to Jaipur. A books the tickets under the goConfirmed Trip offer upon paying the goConfirmed Trip Premium for all the 5 tickets. The tickets are in waitlisted category. Before or at the time of chart preparation, 3 of these tickets gets confirmed or RAC. Now, A cannot seek the 2X Refund amount for the remaining 2 tickets as partial booking has been confirmed. Thus, in order to avail the Offer the entire booking shall not be confirmed or RAC in the chart preparation.

What are the terms and Conditions of ‘Travel Voucher’?

• The ‘Travel Voucher’ will be shared with you via email once your train chart gets prepared.
• The ‘Travel Voucher’ will expire within seven (7) days of issuance by Goibibo.
• The Travel Voucher is valid for a travel made within seven (7) days of train’s departure date.
• The ‘Travel Voucher’ can be used only once, for booking alternate mode of transport like flight, bus, cab or train.
• You cannot use one ‘Travel Voucher’ to book multiple mode of transport.
• The ‘Travel Voucher’ should be entered in the ‘coupon code’ field while booking alternate mode of transport through Goibibo platform.
• Partially utilized ‘Travel Voucher’ cannot be re-used on any other booking.
• Travel Voucher discount will be applied on the ticket fare only and would exclude convenience fees, add-on charges, etc.
• This Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer of Goibibo.
• If the fare of alternate mode of transport is higher than the ‘Travel Voucher’ amount, then the customer must pay the remaining amount at the time of booking alternate mode of transport.
• Goibibo shall not be responsible for the availability of the alternate mode of transport. In the event you wish to avail the amount received under the Offer for making a booking for an alternate mode of transport for your travel and the same is not available for the time, date and place of your choice, Goibibo shall not be held responsible for the same.
• Illustration: A makes a booking of a train ticket from Chennai to Bangalore and the said ticket did not get confirmed. Goibibo pursuant to this Offer issued 2X Refund in A’s favour. Now, A wishes to make another booking for the alternate mode of transport i.e. Cab/ Bus/ Flight/ Train and there is no availability for these modes. Goibibo shall not be held responsible for the same.
• In no event the ‘Travel Voucher’ can be refunded, exchanged or partly encashed.
• Goibibo reserves the right to deny accepting any Travel Voucher on account of duplicity. Goibibo shall not be held responsible in this regard.
• In case you wish to cancel your alternate booking, Goibibo shall adjust the discount amount from final refund amount and cancellation penalty will be charged depending on your chosen mode of travel.
• Number of passengers in alternate mode of transport (flight, bus or train) should be equal to the number of passengers in the train ticket in which goConfirmed Trip was opted.
• The departure city and the destination city of the alternate mode of transport (flight, bus, cab or train) should be within 300 kms range of the stations for which the train ticket in which goConfirmed Trip was opted.
• llustration: A makes a booking of a train ticket from Gurgaon to Jaipur and the said ticket did not get confirmed. Goibibo pursuant to this Offer issued 2X Refund in A’s favour. Now, A wishes to book a flight ticket using Travel Voucher. A can book a flight ticket from Delhi to Jaipur. A cannot book an alternate flight ticket from Mumbai to Goa (as Mumbai is not within a 300 kms range of Gurgaon and Goa is not within a 300 kms range of Jaipur)
