Here, you can also see monuments from Chalukya era and an old river-front temple dedicated to Lord Mahalingeshwara. 
Belgaum Fort is another popular tourist attraction with a rich history. The fort has huge walls, parapets, battlements and a  deep moat which is given by Yakub Ali Khan of Bijapur Sultanate. 
Amboli is a beautiful hill-station situated 67.9 km away from Belgaum with lots of natural springs and waterfalls. It is known to receive a heavy amount of rainfall.
