Umae Villa Ubud

We had booked this villa for 2 days before 15 days of visiting. Went around 6 PM on the day to check in. The receptionist says the rooms are all booked and they have arranged another villa for 1 day at Villa Mandi and then return next morning to Umae Villa. We didn't want to spoil our holiday mood and didn't create a scene though my wife was adamant. Anyway we went to Villa Mandi, which was 20 min away, it was bad. not even a 3 star hotel, unclean bed, room and refrigerator, and bad location. We had dinner at their own restaurant as there was nothing around, food there was ok. Breakfast was ok too, had to pre order an item and a drink. The only good thing was next morning, they arranged a shuttle cab to ubud central and picked us up after 2 hours. We returned to Umae Villa at 12 30 PM next day, though they asked us to come at 12 PM. The room was still not ready and asked to wait 30 more mins. We went out for lunch and came back.The actual villa in Villa Mandi is good. Nice room and pool, proper 4 star property except a phone in room and restaurant. The stay was good although we stayed for a short time as we had to leave next morning. The breakfast was just ok. We have to choose a dish and a drink, that's all. Booked a cab through them to airport which was fine. I would have rated this villa 4 if we had actually stayed for 2 days. I have read in another review the same thing happened with another person. They shouldn't be accepting more bookings if they are already full. Bad on that part.

My stay was not great. The room & the the washroom was average.All the facilities was not available and one of the lady staff was rude. AC was working but there was no remote to control the AC. The breakfast which they served in the room was pathetic very less quantity and taste was also not good. If we ask for more then it will be chargeable. All in all I had a very bad experience.

Located in ubud central 7 to 10 mins walk from monkey forest. Villas are super for couple stay. They have two storied villas in ground floor there is a washroom , kitchen, private pool, mini fridge on upstairs there are one bedroom , washroom . Good place for private stay. Though have no restaurant there are plenty of restaurants nearby

I have stayed for 3 night. overall experience was good. All staff were very good cooperative and polite. They have very little option in breakfast but still it's manageable. Very Close to Monkey Forest. They have shuttle service for Central Market. Overall I am pleased with the Stay and would recommend for stay in future.
