The cottage is 6 kms from Alibaug town. But you get 6 seater autos at Rs.15/- per seat to reach this cottage. Akshi beach is approx 5-7 min walk and from there you can walk another 10 min to reach Nagaon beach, where once can do water sports. Lot of plants/trees, hammocks, outside seating, etc. make the Cottage look more beautiful. They served yummy home-made food. Both Mr. Aboli, the owner and the caretaker were very helpful and guided us for our day tour. The rooms are small but neat and clean. If there was a swimming pool, it would have been silver lining on the cloud. One advise for the owner/caretaker - please clean the back-side of the property. Lot of rubbish thrown made it difficult for us to open the window of that side. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and will definitely recommend to all my friends/relatives to stay here.

Aboli cottages : Situated on the main road towards Nagaon besides Konkan Food Bazar at Akshi, has all basic amenities but it's not a star category hotel, where we received hospitality not like we are guests but as their relatives. Food was also good. Caretakers are always ready to help. They offered us all Tea as a complimentary, which generally we can't expect. In nut shell, if u wish to have homely stay then go for this one without second thought but if one wish to go for Star category hotel with total professional staff, don't go to this cottage to spoil their ratings. I really liked the stay at Aboli. Best wishes.

Good Home stay. A small cottage with a lawn gives a rustic feel. Food is the best part of the stay, let it be sea food or veg, freshly cooked and delicious. Fish and prawn preparation is superb. Just a Walking distance from Akshi beach and 3-4 km from Nagaon. Care taker Mr Patil and family take good care of the guests.

Just last week been there on thrusday night. Must stay.had a very good experience. care taker is very helpful, soft spoken. Our bike got punctured and care taker helped us throughout and also they didn't charge us for the extra we stayed there though the check out timing was 11 am.

Nice Cottage. Value for money. I booked Deluxe AC room which is cost me around **. Room was cleaned. Mr. Aboli (Owner) was very helpful. Mr Uday Patil, who is care taker also helpful. Nice food he made. It is very near to Akshi beach. Nagoan beach is also near.

The hotel was good.. it is on walking distance from akshi beach. u can find lot of mango trees on the way. To go to other beaches like nogaon beach you need to hire a auto. Food was home made with a good taste. overall the stay was pleasent.
