Altrude By The Sea

Stayed from 3-1-24 till 8-1-24. Pre checkin experience:- We booked Room with private garden and one day before our checkin we received a call from hotel Manger asking us to change our room as his other guest were staying in the said room. I rejected his request as we want to stay only in the room which we have booked. Finally he agreed and we checkin the next day. The checkin process was ok and we have to wait for around 30 minutes. Now to talk of room. The room was perfect. Almost the same as being shown while booking. Neat, clean and spacious rooms. Good space in private balcony. Bathroom was neat and good size except that there was no ventilation. Room service was good. Now to talk of buffet breakfast:- I would rather rate it below average for two reasons first the food was really not tasty second not much variety. But still it was ok. Checkout process was also little disappointed. Our flight was early morning and we left the hotel around 7 am. We booked the taxi one day prior from hotel only and gave time of 6.45 am. When we were about to board our taxi the hotel manager started insisting us to pay waiting charges extra payment to which he did not agreed. After our saying him that we will write this to hotel management he finally agreed us to board the taxi. Though we were on time. Over all hotel is good Location is good Very close to candolim beach Very close to market and restaurants Food was average and need lots of improvement Overall it was good experience if not great.

a hotel over hyped by ratings, To start with only good point is the room from inside, House keeping wont be available after 4:30PM so if you napping they will wake you to clean the room. Breakfast spread is poor and some items were bit burnt and uncourteous staff makes you not to eat anything furthur there. Swimming pool is not at all maintained. a garden view means trash store view here. Not at all recommended. lots of better options available at much more reasonable price.

one of the closest and fine hotel from candolim beach. ample and free parking. staff behavior is polite and pleasant. ambience is awesome. restaurant (breakfast & dine in) is fabulous. rooms are spacious. amenities (room, balcony, bathtub, washroom) are luxurious. pool area at 2nd floor with infinity view towards sea is outstanding. overall rating 5/5.

Pros:- @Clean and spacious rooms. @Very close to Candolim beach(around 150 meters). @ Located in market. @ All good restaurants around. @ Taxi stand just around the corner. @ Room service good. Cons @ Hotel breakfast not up to the mark/limited variety. @ Reception guy most of the time unavailable. Overall good experience.
