A Perfect Escape I recently stayed at the Shalimar Spice Resort, and it was an unforgettable experience. The resort is beautifully nestled in lush greenery, offering a peaceful retreat from the city. The cottages are cozy and blend perfectly with the natural surroundings. I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and the sight of vibrant plants right outside my window. The private veranda was a great spot to relax and take in the stunning views. The food was fantastic, with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients making every meal delicious. I particularly enjoyed the variety of dishes that catered to different tastes. Special Thanks to Chef Bimal & Restaurant Manager Aneesh There were plenty of activities to enjoy, from guided nature walks to a refreshing swim in the infinity pool. The plantation tour was a highlight, giving me a chance to learn about sustainable farming. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, making my stay even more enjoyable. Their commitment to eco-friendly practices was impressive and made me feel good about staying there. Overall, the Shalimar Resort is a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.

This place is a hidden gem. 5 km from Kumily main bus stand. Great hospitality by Mr. Paul, Mrs. Shirley & team amidst nature's lap. The cottages are nestled in a spice garden growing coffee, cardamom, pepper, several flowering plants and loads of fruits. The air carries the scent of cardamom while the rooms are adorned with wooden artefacts and exceptional sketches. A great place to come over and over!

a very good resort.. amidst thick plantation of about 6 acres.. very aesthetic and nature aligned cottages.. food was good.. breakfast menu excellent.. service was good and housekeeping n reception staff polite and courteous... if you want to relax and enjoy nature, this is the place to be in... they also have massage , yoga , and arrange for nature walks and jungle trails tours too

Had a wonderful stay in this property as the services and the facilities that I have received was extremely satisfying. The room and the washroom was clean. There was TV in one common room. The food was also good in this property. The property is 5 minutes away from the main city.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed. Highly satisfied with accommodation, services and staff behavior. Restaurant was there & we tried food which was good. WiFi was there and parking was also available. So all in all very happy with hospitality in a worth the price.

Perfect location, very close to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Very friendly and helping staff. Food is great and price is reasonable. Breakfast was included and they have English, South Indian and North Indian Breakfast.
