Anaya Retreat

I have contacted the hotel twice before the arrival and told them that we will be arriving late in the night and checking in late. Despite that the hotel main door was locked and no lights were on when we arrived. We didn’t even have a calling bell to reach out to hotel staff. I called the hotel number but call went unanswered. I had to fish out for a number that I received called from at the time of booking and called the person to have the gates opened. This was a traumatic experience because we were stranded on the road in the middle of the night for a prepaid hotel. The hotel description said that the booked room accommodates three adults. The room was extremely small and we had a tough time managing in the limited space. The room description said there will be refrigerator, cooking utensils etc. there was nothing of that sort in terms of kitchen. It’s misleading. The only upside is the cleanliness. I would set the right expectations with customers. This is just like any tiny hotel room that accommodates a couple comfortably. Don’t get carried away by the description.

Worst place to be. DON'T FALL FOR THIS PLACE EVER! So from where do I start? 1. The hotel owner will repeatedly ask you to change the room. 2. The pics shown in the hotel photos have a starc difference with the reality. 3. The staff and the owner specially, is extremely rude and don't know any way to talk. 4. The staff is unresponsive, you keep calling them to get the room clean, for water no one will listen. 5. The room walls kept smelling really bad because wetness, taps are broken. 6. They'll charge you extra for every single thing. And ykw? When you fight for it, they'll don't allow you to take your luggage. Your welcome!

Room was compact and super clean. Not less than any 4 star hotel in comfort and cleanliness. Staff are cooperative. Mr. Raj, Manager of this hotel was super helpful. He went to the extent of receiving us from railway station by an e-auto rickshaw. It reduced all our worries of negotiation with auto / taxi drivers. He also arranged airport drop by taxi at a reasonable charges. Trip was peaceful only due to this hotel stay

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Rude and unresponsive staff, owner has no manners to talk. Room stinks like hell, with no help from the team. Tap is broken, there are smoke ash all around. Rather donate this money somewhere than staying here!
