Bharat Hotel (BTH)

This time too I was given 159. I think I must have stayed in this room over half a dozen times. I am patronizing this Hotel since 1995....and I am so used to this Hotel that it becomes difficult to stay in another place when rooms are not available here. I have cancelled my trips to Ernakulam a couple of times when rooms were full here. The front office was outstanding, as always.. Even though we see new faces at the front office, they all seemed trained well. Swamy, the senior most person at the Restaurant is omnipresent there...always welcoming the guests with a beaming warm smile... Thanx BTH Team for taking care of your guests so meticulously.... I have to mention here one more thing. The Car Park attendants/security staff do a magnanimous job no matter if it was hot sun or drenching rains....they are thoroughly professional...this time, there were some drunken guests behaving badly in the middle of the night. I was watching the whole episode though my window...the attendants handled the situation so well...so neatly, firmly and gracefully...Hats off to them...

I have known Bharath Hotel for close to 40 years. It used to fondly be called BTH then. This time I stayed for two days in Room # 159. A corner Room with windows on two sides. One window is huge - full wall size. Pros : Spacious, extremely clean, sparkling bright rooms, plenty of closed & open storage, good beds, a small dining/work table with two chairs, sufficient lights and power sockets, very clean washrooms, 24 hrs hot water, all Amenities (TV, AC, Remotes, Kettle etc) work perfectly. Secured & big Car Park. Right in the middle of the City and beside the waterfront, Autos, Taxis, Busses & Boats available within 50 meters. Metro is 300 meters away and Railway station is 1 km from the Hotel. The Hotel has a professional and helpful Front Office ably managed by its Manager and his Team. The restaurant is easily the best in Kerala. There are two restaurants and a lawn service facility here. There is an army of waiters there, to make each guest feel important. Cons: Limited TV Channels.

it was nice and comfortable stay. complimentary breakfast was good. we even had lunch at it's restaurant and they have served authentic Kerala Style meal. The hotel is situated very near to back waters and the staffs are courteous. They were considerate to allow one hour grace period for check out. overall experience us excellent. Room is spacious and comfortable with all amenities. Room service is also good. We have enjoyed our stay.

This time I stayed in Room 159 for 3 days. As usual, I found this Hotel Team very cooperative and accommodating. I have to thank a special person. Mr. Kanah (from Odisha) who works at the Restaurant. Always greeting the guests with a sincere smile. He personally makes sure that the guests are served their food in the best cordial way and the guests leave the restaurant happily. Thanx once again Mr. Kanah....
