Why 4 Stars: -The hosts, specially the lady Mrs Roseline was very gentle,polite and sophisticated. One will definitely admire the manners of the hosts. I found this very comforting. - There is parking space available - Rooms are tidy, humble and comfy. Actually such rooms are perfect for guests who are less finicky. - Rooms are Equipped with fully functional mini fridge and TV. - Fresh homemade food available as per menu. - The ambience is old Goan and it has its own vibe. - Lots of greenery around and in the property itself. - A perfect hitchhiker Spot - We stayed for just a day , hence didn't order food. It's available though. - They provide 2 wheelers on rent so traveling is not gonna be an issue - They got two dogs , one of which is a huge Golden Retriever and German Shepherd mix...13 year old dude... keeps sleeping...adds to the vintage ambience. ๐ The other one is a handsome young local breed. Why not 5 Stars: We could have rated it one more star but the Reachability of this location is a bit tough to us. Although one can easily reach here using Google Maps but the road to this place is spooky and narrow. Not a road of choice if you are driving a car and it's after sunset. The place is situated somewhere near anjuna. There is absolutely nothing nearby...maybe a general store (Maybe). Night stay can be very silent and almost haunting. Of course this is absolutely a personal view. Would reiterate that we didn't spend the night there. And yes, One cannot blame the hosts for the location of their home. That being said, the location is very near to Anjuna Beach and several other places to visit. All in all a very different experience. Will definitely suggest people to stay here. Hospitality and competitive pricing are very big factors. cheers!

Castelinho's Homestay is for those people who wants a peacefull vacation in Goa. The Room is big with all basic amenities like Refrigerator, Fan, TV, AC and all. Room is neat and clean, you will fell like Home once you enter in the Room. The Landlady is very good, always have a smile on her Face. Bathroom is clean and massive. Need to improve Wi-Fi network as there was no coverage in my room. The Check in time is- 10.30 AM and check out time is 12 PM. The Home stay is located in Anjuna, Bardez, little far(300 m ) from main road. Nearest places to visit is Chapora Fort(2.5 Km), Anjuna Beach(2.5 Km). Don't miss the Anjuna Flea market there.

This stay is set up at best location. 5mins away from hilltop. 10mins from anjuna beach. And many many more amazing places jus a short ride away. You get a homely feeling here as Mr. Desmond and Mrs. Roseline are the best hosts u can ever get. Always there at your service. No matter wat help you need, they are always there. We got amazing rooms for 1,500/- on short notice. The rooms could be better but they are still clean and tidy and definitely worth the money. OVERALL a great experience.

We had very pleasant stay in this guest house within our budget. Great place with lot of greenery and near to Anjuna beach overall connecvity is good from this place to other beaches in North goa. one of the best and peaceful places to stay in North Goa, anjuna, it has been our third year of staying with castelinho's homes. and it has been like a family feeling....great service, great assistance for traveling anywhere around, and very good rooms..... looking forward to drop by next year as well

The place was really peaceful and quiet! It's more of home rather than hotel. Just facilities are less WiFi range is poor. No food provided. But the owner of hotel are really good and helpful! Overall.. Really good hotel

Decent place to stay with friends or family, close to anjuna beach, which is relatively less commercialized. You might need google maps to find this place but the hospitality is worth the search. We would love to visit again.
