Chennai Stays T Nagar

I am not sure whether they gave the ground floor room because I booked thro IBIBO( which gave a discount to me). The room was just at the entrance hall. Very small and can be seen from outside and a wooden screen was put and in the night when the lights are on people can see 10 to 20% of the room from outside. The bathrooms were untidy.I had to request for change of sheets. There was a group of people always sitting in the main hall just in front of the room (where the reception table is also there) where the room was located and were chatting and discussing which gave no privacy. In fact my talkings and entry and exits from the room, were watched by all people sitting there. When I went to check in,the rooms were not available even at 8 am and on the next day ( day of check out), the people were sleeping in the main hall at 8 AM when I wanted to check out. I had earlier asked abt the complimentry breakfast and there was no kitchen or a room. In the back yard the breakfast was prepared and in front of the reception the wokers were sleeping on the floor. Gave a feeling that I have moved into a lodge and not a service apartment. The place is inside a lane and no restaurents shops nearby.. I do not know weher they had better rooms in the first and second floor. but the rooms in the ground floor were unclean and noisy and I was given a room in the ground floor only. On the whole my experience was bad and I must now think twice before booking thro Go IBIBO

Having previously been to the Chennai Stays at Guindy, I had high expectations of the one at T Nagara, and it didn't disappoint. It is conveniently located right between the Visa Application Centre and the US Consulate Office (roughly about 1km away from each). Got a good deal from Goibibo which made it a total value-for-money offer. The service is good, the rooms are superbly furnished. (No Kannada channels on the TATA Sky connection being the only downside :-/) The food at Chennai Stays is excellent, a much better option than having to walk a long way to the 'nearest' restaurant called Hotel Sangeetha. All in all, I would definitely recommend Chennai Stays, T Nagara for all US Visa aspirants.

It was a very bad experience as there was no hot water available inside the room even after changing my room. It was still not available as it's rainy weather in Chennai so you can't expect guests to take bath with Cold water in the early morning. they changed my room from one place to another which was almost 50 metres away from the reception desk back yard road of the hotel. and I luggage got wet and self also.

This place was very nice and comfortable, property was very well maintained and services provided by the hotel was great. Room was very nice and comfortable. Quality of complimentary breakfast was good. And location was convenient, it was easily accessible. Overall a pleasant stay we at Chennai Stays T Nagar and this place is recommended for all kind of stay.
