We had a family trip in Andaman Islands during October 2015. Our experience throughout the trip in the islands was just awesome mainly due to the extreme co-operation extended by Mr. Rajan, who is in-charge of Hotel Galaxy. He is a very nice person, and the well-mannered behavior of all the hotel staffs with the guests made us to always feel a home-like environment. The stay in the hotel was very comfortable in the budget. In fact, the hotel is well located near to the Port Blair Airport. Main market is within the range of just 50 Mtrs. of distance from the hotel which is very much comfy for the guests staying in the hotel to go out for shopping and relaxation in their flexible timings. Along with discussion and well-planned advice by Mr. Rajan, we could cover all the sight-seeing points which we planned well in advance before our trip. We strongly recommend Hotel Galaxy for its best service for a middle-class budget. Thanks once again to Mr. Rajan for the wonderful trip we enjoyed under his guidance.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 days. It is a nice hotel and very well located. The owner Mr. Rajan is really a nice person. The rooms are comfy and clean. My room was equipped with a balcony too. The wash room was clean. The saty looked perfect in every aspect. The staffs are also very friendly. Specially I would like to say the food quality, was best I found in entire Andaman. I dined in many good restaurants in the island but here the food quality was better to my test. One who is searching for a budget hotel, must stay in this. One who is travelling to Baratang/ Wandoor/ Jolly Boy/ Sippi Ghat will find the location especially helpful as all the local bus goes over Bathu Basti. Hiring Auto or car in Andaman is expensive and if you can travel in local bus then lot of money can be saved. Buses are comfortable and never crowded.

I stayed in this hotel with my family on 25th, 29th and 30th July 2015. I must say all reviews I read about Mr Rajan (owner) and his hotel were spot on.It is a small but very efficiently maintained property. The Dinner and breakfast they serve is delicious. The market is nearby for shopping. The highlight of this property is the owner MR Rajan himself. He always went an extra mile to help us with all travel related queries. He made all the travel arrangements for us for sightseeing, pick and drop from airport etc and that too on very nominal prices. I must recommend this property to all the travelers without a second thought. In fact if anyone is traveling or planning a trip to Andamans do contact MR Rajan and I am sure he will get all set for you. KUDOS for great hospitality. Thanks GOIBIBO for providing great discounts.

The food was great. The other good thing about the hotel was the behaviour of the staff which was fantastic. The sleeping quality was great and Mr. Rajan(owner's husband) along with her daughter -in-law treated us very well and attended us with full attention. The room size is small but is very good and comfortable. The hotel located in the heart of the city plus it was near to the road. The overall experience was excellent. Mr Rajan is very cooperative. You tell him your requirement and he give suggestion perfectly. He can arrange different types of bookings need a traveller of Andaman. Workers of the hotel are also excellant. I stayed hotel from 18.10.15 to 20.10.15 and 23.10.15 to 24.10.15. I will certainly stay third time in this hotel. Highly recommended to others.

The trip organised by Mr. Rajan was really great.. We are a family of four and stayed in galaxy hotel for 5 days. The hotel is neat and clean and hotel staffs are really friendly. Mr. Rajan actually took care of each small things during the trip starting from the stay at the hotel to the travelling through The Andamans and made sure that our trip was really smooth without any hassles.. I had pre planned the trip with Mr. Rajan, and he made sure that everything that we wanted to cover was done in the due course of our trip.The food quality was really great with wide varieties of South and North Indian food served to us in the hotel. The experience of the Anadamas was accentuated by the services provided by Mr. Rajan. Thanks a lot for organising the trip.

Hi All , I stayed around 4 days in Galaxy hotel and stay is really good .I felt like am home. Especially Management they are friendly nature ready help any extent . This hotel also have the Travels so if you want to plan any local trip just inform the manager he will arrange you the vehicle. Food : I already mentioned like am at home food here is like home food, it is not commercial restaurant so dont expect more variety's, if you really want to eat something just inform the manager prior 3hr's to lunch he will arrange you the desired food. Overall am very much happy with the Hotel management and service.

comfortable stay at hotel galaxy port blair. close to the airport and situated at such a place which is central to each and every tourist location in port blair. we booked a twin bedded room with attached bathroom and had a pleasent stay here. rooms were neat and clean and timely maintained. hotel staffs are excellent and very well mannered and mostly ladies. restaurent is above par. i would recommend this hotel to each band everyone visiting port blair

It was 4 of us(2 married couple) who stayed at this budget hotel. The owner Rajan sir took real good care of us. He made sure we were picked and dropped timely to/from the airport and ferry to go to Havelock. He also took care of booking the ferry for us both ways. The food was available on a make to order basis. So you need to pre book your meals over the phone with him but we loved the food.He provided service for the price:-)

This hotel is very good to stay in Portblair. The hotel is owned by a nice gentleman who is ready to help you anytime. He can also arrange tickets for Havlock, Neil and Ross & North Bay islands. It is located in the market area where you can find everything. You could find three ATM nearby which had helped us a lot during the days of demonetization. You can find all types of restaurants nearby. Overall very good to stay.

Stayed for 3 days in the hotel. Had an excellent accommodation and a pleasant stay. Basic needs like shops, medical stores, auto stand, ATM ..etc are very nearby. Owner and the Staff are very friendly and helpful. Owner guided us well. Provided transportation for local sight seeing. Restaurant food is very good and homely. we booked through goibbo got very good price. i stayed with my wife and small kids, had a great stay. i felt as if i was staying in my house. the service given by the owner Rajan was very good. He provided good food for me and my family. he arranged local sightseeing. all staff and drivers were good. rooms were clean and more worth for what you pay.

The stay in this hotel was a Good Experience.The Hotel is Economical and value for money , All basic amenities are available. The location is not in city but its not an issue. Better Plan your trip before reach there with the Manager Rajan and Vineesh so that you can have a better holiday there.The food is Awesome its Homely so don't miss that.

This hotel is homely and food is very good. They provided hot water, milk whenever we needed for my kid. Rajan Sir is very nice to direct us to the places and he accommodated us 2 more days because of return flight cancellation. Thanks a lot sir. It is a good place for family with kids and it is a homely stay hotel.

Mr Rajan is really nice person. we had no problems during the entire stay. He helped us in arranging tickets to Havelock island and other places nearby. He also helped us for the stay in Havelock island. We were in no trouble for the entire trip. I would recommend his hotel for other travellers.

Nice hospitality by the owner, upgraded us to spacious deluxe room & provided complimentary tea during our 2 days stay. Property is very clean although they are expanding/construction by adding new rooms, but no nuisance to the Travellers. Great value for the money.
