Glendale is situated 10 kmts from kalpetta in a place called Audathode , Ayappa Swamy temple junction. it is about 300 mts from there. We stayed between 13th and 15 th of October in a room for a couple. The balcony overlooks the Aracanut trees and the Chembara peak. The bathroom needs a facelift though. The home cooked food was absouletly delightful to have. The prices are very reasonable and the cook Srijha ( I am not sure of her name) and Ravi are very hospitable. We enjoyed the walk around the tea estate which surrounds Glendale. We took local bus to kalpetta from Glendale which costs only RS. 14. The locals were very helpful in guiding us. Audathode to Chundale and then from Chundale to kalpetta , two buses which are frequently available. The three wheelers charge Rs. 150 to Kalpetta, the main town for taxis and other shopping which you may want to do.

Best Homestay in Wayanad..and it's very near to all the tourist spot in Wayanad you get a nice view of chembra peak from here.its not that much posh but at the same time it provide you a comfortable stay surrounding are very clean and you get a good feel staying here They arranged homely food campfire, and barbecue also.
