Kiara Studios by Goaround Homes at Assagao

Stayed overnight at this place with family during transit to another place. Got the room. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the building has no lifts. Since we had a car with us, we kept our larger bags in car taking only 1 small bag to the room. We reached the place at the dead of night and there was a power cut. Though UPS backup is available in rooms, the corridors and outdoors were not lit which is a bit scary. But the onsite staff Abu was helpful. The room is small, smelt cigarettes and the bed sheets had holes made due to cigarette ash (whoever caused this is an idiot). A wash basin, electric kettle and plastic plate/glass was provided in room. The bed was king size and could sleep 2 adults and 2 small kids. Smart TV was provided with WiFi connection is provided. AC was powerful but doesn’t work during power cuts. Bathroom lacks an exhaust fan but has an electric geyser. Dental kit was not available but bath soap & hand wash were provided. Only 1 towel was provided for all of us, that too upon request, citing drying issues due to rain (this is weird!). Building is close to a road and can cause disturbance from vehicles. Ample parking space available. Overall a decent stay considering the price paid and proximity to North Goa attractions.
