Please do not book this hotel/lodge. It is a complete waste of money. No cleanliness and no service for cleaning or maintenance. We had booked this place for a 3 night stay from 12th to 15th Nov. We had booked it thinking of the ideal location of being on the main road with places nearby for visit. But when we arrived here, we found the room and the washroom very dirty. The towel they provided was very very dirty and looked like a used one. Even the dustbins weren't emptied and were full of garbage disposed off by the previous customer. We even requested the manager thrice to get the room cleaned but of no use. The staff came and just said we don't do it, the sweeper does it and he will come in the morning. Bathroom is so tiny and narrow that you cannot rotate yourself 360 degree smoothly, it's also very dirty and very smelly. Room is very small with tiny cockroaches roaming on the walls and spider webs everywhere. You can see the attached photos to believe yourself. We had booked the room almost two months ago as we had a long trip planned (Gangtok, kalimong, darjeeling) and yet when we arrived we were given the room next to the kitchen, so our room and bathroom was smelling and stinking all the time, cockroaches entering from the kitchen and noises of water and waste disposal from the kitchen. Also the entrance of the hotel and our room was extremely dirty. Finally we had to call goibibo for help and they spoke to the manager and owner and got our stay cancelled for atleast 2 days such that we could book another place for a peaceful stay. Yet, the manager gave only a verbal confirmation but no written confirmation of our cancellation and refund and now we are trying to get it sorted for our refund. You should consider booking this hotel only and only if: 1) This hotel is the ONLY hotel left in Kalimpong. 2) You love the stinking smell of garbage and toilet. 3) You want a hotel on the main road (But I am sure there are other better hotels nearby) 4) You have a love for insects and want to spend your night with spiders and cockroaches. I hope the time I spent to write this review will help people to decide whether to book this hotel or not.

Hello colleagues, Don't book this hotel by mistake. They can cancel your booking just before check In whether you have booked the hotel in advance and also paid the amount. In order to have a joyful stay and enjoying kalimpong, stay away from this hotel.

The enteranc to Hotel is through a not so clean restaurant. Stair axe was too dirty. Room walls were also dirty therefore no photographs taken

Location is great, close to market and bus/taxi stand, has a very good restaurant, but service is not satisfactory.
